Well located in the centre of Funchal, Barceló Funchal Oldtown provides air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a fitness centre. Everything was perfect. Breakfast was good and time slot from 7-10.30 is really great. The hotel is located in the center. So you can walk through the whole city from there. The staff was very friendly- rooms are modern and very clean. The king size bed was really comfortable.

Ideally situated in Funchal, TURIM Santa Maria Hotel features air-conditioned rooms, an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a shared lounge. The hotel and its amenities were wonderful. Breakfast especially, was a plentiful delight that I was not expecting. Shout out to the guy in the kitchen who made delicious omelettes on request. Everything was clean, well decorated and elegant.

Located in scenic Madeira Island, Pestana CR7 Funchal results of a partnership between Pestana Hotels and world-renowned footballer Cristiano Ronaldo. Everything was perfect, they even let us check in a little bit earlier. The view is amazing and the CR7 museum was included in our stay! Thank you!

Hotel Madeira is a 3-star hotel in Funchal's city centre, close to shops and restaurants. It offers free WiFi access. Each room has a private bathroom with walk-in shower and hairdryer. Charming small hotel, excellent location, friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast good. Clean, very pleasant atmosphere, nice decor.

Set within tropical gardens on Madeira Island, this charming guesthouse features far-reaching sea views and 2 outdoor seawater pools, one of which is heated in winter period. The hotel is located on a hill on what it used to be an old grange/ manor house with view over the Atlantic. it is very well decorated but the furniture is old, however the facilities are modern. The garden is amazing with several tropical plants, the breakfast has a big variety and the banana bread/ cake is out of this world (absolutely delicious). The staff is very kind and professional. The hotel, is close to the center and right next to the harbor where the ferry to Porto Santo leaves. I highly recommend this hotel and will surely come back.

Hotel Catedral offers elegantly decorated rooms in Funchal’s city centre. It features panoramic views of the area. It also offers free WiFi, as well as free parking. This hotel was fantastic, the location is right in the old town. Everything was clean and tidy, bathroom exceeded my expectations. Breakfast was delicious. I just searched something cheap because I planned to hang out the last night in Funchal with my friend, so I didn't expect a lot, but I was really pleasantly surprised. In fact, the price was way too cheap for such apartment in the down town.
