The newly renovated 4-star Hotel Baía Azul is ideally situated a 4-minute walk from Funchal’s beachfront. Wonderful and caring staff, my left at reception suicase was taken to my room when room became available, they have lockers in spa I had room with balcony _ walk outside thru to the pool., pool area is lovely, towels are comfy Inside pool is right temperature, just open doors for fresh air

Renovated in 2018, the 4-star Hotel Alto Lido is located in Funchal’s prime area – Lido, 2.5 km from the city centre. Everything was amazing, be it service, staff, facilities, room service .... and for the price it was definitely more than worth - Definitely revisiting Plus the location is all you could ask for, super close to Funchal, Lido and Forum Madeira (everything is basically at walking distance)

As part of the Vila Porto Mare resort, this hotel offers 4 restaurants, 6 bars and 5 swimming pools. Porto Mare features an extensive tropical garden on the Atlantic oceanfront. Great hotel, friendly staff and good food. Pools are are great and the gardens beautiful. Very nice experience provided.

Situated atop a natural peninsula, The Cliff Bay provides panoramic Atlantic Ocean views and private sea access. Excellent breakfast buffet, but you could also order from a menu.

Located in Funchal, within 600 metres of Gorgulho - Gavinas Beach and 2.9 km of Formosa Beach, Vila Vicência provides accommodation with a bar and free WiFi. Beautiful location and facilities, the indoor pool and jacuzzi were great for a rainy day. Staff is very friendly and accommodating and the room itself was huge with a private balcony. I would absolutely stay here again!

Set within a leafy garden, this hotel boasts an outdoor pool overlooking Funchal coastal cliffs. Pestana Vila Lido Madeira Ocean Hotel‘s studios are spacious and decorated with soft beige colours. The staff was really friendly, location is great, as hotel is right by the ocean. In the evening the sound od waves is the only thin one hears. Self service buffet breakfast was great, there is a lot of choises. When weather was good, you can eat on the terrace. And semi circular room gives beautiful views of the ocean and cliffs near Funchal. Would come again!

Everything about this hotel is fabulous, it has a resort feel. Beautiful rooms with amazing views. The staff is fantastic and very welcoming. Location is great for walking down by the water with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Loved my stay here!

Featuring panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean, this luxurious hotel in Funchal offers an indoor and outdoor pool and spa. The rooms include a balcony and cable TV. I was lucky to have booked this hotel! I don't remember to have ever felt so welcomed and comfortable in a hotel while travelling. The staff was super friendly and extremely helpful all the time. The hotel has great facilities including outdoor/indoor swimming pools, jacuzzi, sauna, etc. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and it had all essential facilities. The restaurant was providing buffet breakfast and dinner with a wide variety of tasty and delicious food. The hotel also organised daily night events with live music & DJs providing an incredible atmosphere and giving its guests a proper summer holiday feeling with positive vibes while dancing with each other. Amazing! The hotel is located only 5-10 min away by car / public transport and it's very close to the Lido swimming pools complex that I also recommend. It was my 1st time in Madeira and I'm super happy with this hotel. I might come back again! Obrigado! :)

Located in Lido, just a 5-minute walk from the oceanfront promenade in Funchal, the recently refurbished Allegro Madeira offers 2 restaurants, an outdoor pool, 360º rooftop bar, spa and fitness... First of all, the hotel is great! The staff are very friendly and does everything in their might to help us. The view from our room was amazing! We had a view over the ocean and the town of Funchal, so we could relax on the balcony with a great view. We had breakfast and dinner included with our room and the food is delicious! The options vary every day, which is really nice! I could keep going with what is nice about this hotel. The staff is very engaging and did a lot of things to make our stay extra special. THANK YOU! This has been the best hotel experience I've ever had!
