The room was nice, beds clean and comfortable. The continental breakfast was the biggest plus, with two people in our group being gluten-intolerant there were plenty of options for us to eat. Close to the airport and easy access to public transportation were very convenient.

A city on the move, Warsaw is constantly changing in an effort to rebuild what was lost during World War II. There’s no better example of this than the stunning Old Town Square, where pastel facades sit alongside dome-topped spires.
Starting here is the Royal Route which passes several historic buildings on its way out to Wilanów, where an ornate Royal Palace is set in a huge park that was the retreat of kings since the 17th century. Just as grandiose is the Palace of Culture and Science, Stalin’s gift to Warsaw that still manages to evoke feelings of hatred and love in equal measure. Go up to the terrace for panoramic city views.
Other cultural features are the Warsaw Uprising Museum, considered the best museum in Poland, and traditional bars that still serve down-to-earth food washed down with a shot of vodka - a throwback to the Communist era. Don’t expect to find a seat though – there aren’t any.
Warsaw also has a thriving club scene and more shopping centers than you could throw a stick at. Not that you’d want to, as you’ll be too busy picking up the bargains.
Just outside the city is Warsaw Airport, efficiently linked by public transport to the city’s hotels, guest houses and hostels, available on Booking.com.

I found Warsaw a little disappointing as it was just a big city. There was not the character or vibe of other cities like Gdansk or Kraków. I am very impressed how all of Poland that I have traveled to has been so clean, beautiful. They do only accept Polish currency, no Euros.

I had a high expectation about Warsaw before going and it...
I had a high expectation about Warsaw before going and it turned out to be fantastic. Unlike Budapest and Prague, Warsaw offers more space to visitors and residents. Everything is within short distance, either on foot or by metro. The Chopin piano concerts all over the Old Town were exceptional and definitely a must-do-event in your list. All virtuosos were performing with highest level of skills, enthusiasm and dedication. Also I love the parks in Warsaw, especially Ogród Saski in the city center. I could just stay there for many hours, walking, reading, eating ice cream, drinking coffee, napping, watching the world goes by etc. Warsaw is very safe and people are polite and well mannered. The farmer market, Hala Mirowska is a must-go place to stock up fresh fruit, local honey and bakery. Warsaw is a city of bees ! They produce top grade honey and you can see friendly bees are everywhere in the market. You must try their apple pie ! Poland is the 3rd largest apple producer in the world. In short, I really love Warsaw and hope to go back again.

I’ve stayed in Warsaw on many previous occasions so I know how to get around the City using public transportation, metro, trolley bus , tram etc. Due to a combination of very hot weather and the amount of visitors to the Old Town Square , it’s best to visit there on a Monday or weekday when it is not so packed with weekend tourists. There is no need to stay in the Old Town as there are good hotel options in Warsaw Centrum which is a better location for shopping and museums.

Many locals are friendly and helpful, but a lot of people...
Many locals are friendly and helpful, but a lot of people have terrible attitude. They treat non Polish speaking tourists with disdain and the body language is, "Why are you even here"? Easily the worse I've faced in Europe. The French are way more helpful and friendly than this. There isn't much to see anyway and Kraków is 100 times better. Saturdays evenings are worse, the streets are crowded and noisy, drunks everywhere. Some areas in central city felt unsafe as evening fell with abandoned houses covered with graffitis. Only thing I enjoyed was the National Musuem and shopping. Those who are big about French Pharmacy will find a good stock in many of the pharmacies.

We are very familiar with Warsaw and have lots of friends and famiy there, but as a first time visitor to Poland, I would choose Krakow. It's a more user-friendly city and the countryside around it is full of treasures.

The city is clean and neat.
The city is clean and neat. Having been built from desolation after WW2, the streets are wide and well planned. Motorists are careful of pedestrians and cyclists, of which there are many. Street side eateries are just beginning. Public transport is clean and orderly. Many trams and buses come within minutes of one another
Brilliant location if you travel from/to Chopin Airport, it's just in front of the main airport entrance. I stayed one-night before my flight, next day I had check in at 7:00 am and they start serving breakfasts at 5:00, so I could enjoy my morning coffee and food without rush. The room was spacious and clean, I could watch planes taking off from my window. If I travel to Poland, next time will choose this hotel again, really very convenient.
A good value hostel right in the middle of Warsaw. In the same road as Hotel Bristol, one of the top two hotels in the city making it easy to find. Situated between the university quarter and old town and close to the river couldn't be much better for the "sights". Perfect for a couple of days exploring the city
We stayed at this place many times during our trip to Poland and we will come back there again. Perfect location, super clean and modern with all what you need to stay in Warsaw to explore Old Town and nearby tourist attractions. Host was always very helpful. Thank you.
The breakfast was great! Very delicious, with variety of choices. This is the best breakfast I saw in 4 and 5 stars hotels around the world.
The location is very convenient for those who use Warsaw Zakhidnya
Great location. Minutes away from shops and short walk to restaurants, bars and the old town. The room was comfortable as always. We always stay in puro hotels when we visit Poland and they never disappoint!
