This hotel is amazing, along with the service provided by the staff. The hotel is clean and the location is perfect, as it is next to a convenience store and is a few minutes walk to restaurants. The room is also so clean and comfortable and I can get a good nights sleep without any interruptions. The room also includes slippers for each member of the family along with water bottles. The main highlight of this hotel is the staff. They are very patient and friendly, as I’ve asked many questions and they always help with a smile on their face.

Lively town with an accessible public transportation.
Lively town with an accessible public transportation. A-lot of attractions are close by to the subway and is easy to reach. Subway malls like Gotomall was well worth the visit. Coex mall was also a fun place to spend your time shopping and relaxing. Seoul is definitely a place to visit for its culture, food and shopping.

Fabulous city - great food choices, shopping, art, ancient temples and palaces are so beautiful. Great shopping, fabulous convenience stores, many fun activities such as photo booths, games cafes, cafe culture, the list could go on. There are many neighbourhoods to explore. Seoul is also a late night city and felt very safe as a solo female traveller.
Travel is very easy and reasonable (buy a T money card) on metro/trains and plenty of trains to travel all over Korea even at short notice.

Fantastic city!
Fantastic city!
I would highly recommend Ikseon old village, walk along the Seoul city wall, Insadong, nice cafés in the Hanok village, Seoungsu neighbourhood, DMT tour, visit to Suwon and walk by the Hwaseoung Fortress, Michelin recommended restaurants! A running tour by the Cheonggyecheon. is highly recommended.
1. Location - perfect if you want to stay near Myeongdong. Subway station is super near. Our room had a view of the Namsan Tower. Airport bus stop is near the hotel (reasearch in advance for cost and schedule). Shopping and street foot night market is a few meters away.
2. Value for money - hotel rate was unbeatable but book early!
3. Bedroom size was good for 3 people. One of the few hotels in this price range that offer a proper bath and shower (western style). Beds and pillows were comfortable enough. Daily water bottles were provided.
Great location. Its the center of the city and you can walk around to most popular shopping malls and Myeongdong shopping streets. Room was super spacious (like a small apartment with kitchen and balcony) , very clean and cozy beds
If you are planning to visit the central area , this is a nice place to stay.
The reception desk helps to call taxi if you need. Also airport limousine bus stop is next to the hotel.
Though we took taxi as with a family of 4 , the cost for taxi will be almost in same range
The staff, especially Jina and Bryan were super helpful with recommendations in Seoul and South Korea overall. This was super helpful as I didnt have to do all the planning myself but could rely on the proven knowledge the hosts. The guesthouse had a great atmosphere to get to know other travellers and do activities together
Location was great for going out and food as Hongdae is a very vibrant and young part of town.
Facilities were nice and clean, the showerhead was the best Ive ever experienced.
We really liked the location - a short walk to Myeongdong station and markets but far enough from the action to be quiet. It is up a short but steep hill, and the rooms are upstairs, so not a good option if you have difficulties with mobility. The host was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and there was a shared kitchen downstairs where you could store and prepare food. The mattress was very firm (as they were in most places we stayed in South Korea).
The hotel is in a good location, literally 5 mins walk from DDP. Not too far from main tourist sites (Myeongdong, Hongdae etc). The area itself also has a lot to do and see near DDP like shops, cafes etc. The staff helped us with our bags at check-in and we had to modify our booking to leave early, which they helped us with. If you're only concerned about having a no frills place to stay/short stay (we only stayed 2 nights) and you're not fussy, then it's okay.
It's a before and after experience. Once you have been through a few other hotels in Korea, you will realize that this one is really well thought through. Especially for folks from outside Korea. For example, coin laundry, English speaking staff, shower, toilet with bidet, rooftop seating, refill for drinking water (I don't like using new plastic bottles everytime), optional breakfast (this could be made slightly cheaper), access to bus stops, subway etc.
The hotel staff is extremely accommodating and friendly. We chose to stay here for two separate parts of our stay in SK. Willing to help out with making recommendations and even helping book reservations for shuttle transport to the airport from the hotel. The rooms were always kept immaculately and was a great spot to stay in Jongno but be close enough to Myeongdong and Insadong (a very short walk or subway ride). Would definitely stay there again!
Took my two grown sons to experience Seoul. Location was convenient. Five minute walk to Myeongdong Airport Bus Stop, subway station, and Myeongdong. Three beds for much cheaper than a regular hotel. Enough room for three adults to store luggage and move around. Rooftop deck had great views of N Seoul Tower and surrounding area. Not a five star hotel but certainly served our purposes, we enjoyed our five nights and would stay again.
I needed to stay here just for a couple of nights before leaving to Incheon airport and leave Korea, so this hotel was perfect because of its position. If you have heavy luggage it is very convenient from Seoul Station because there is an elevator coming out of the subway stop very close to the hotel. BUT there is NOT an elevator in the hotel. Luckily the staff was very nice and helped me with my heavy bags.
Our room was so much nicer than I expected! We had two queen beds, a huge bathroom with a separate tub and shower, and a small shared balcony. The staff were incredibly kind, spoke fluent English, and even lent us an umbrella when the rain really started to come down. I've stayed in a lot of hotels and rentals in South Korea, and this one was definitely the best.
this was hands down the best hotel we stayed at in Korea! staff were amazing! room was huge and extremely comfortable as were the beds. complimentary mini bar was great! bathroom amazing! everything super clean! lication was fabulous! right on top of great restaurants and about a 59m walk to the main part if Myeongdong-gil! would return here in a heartbeat!
The location was just right. Local and authentic Korean eateries are just a few steps away from the hotel and the property is quiet because it's away from busy Myeongdong but not too far away that it's easy to walk to Myeongdong markets. The room was clean. We especially liked that the windows open to allow fresh air in.
we were actually doing a little travelling when we visited Korea, so used lotto L7 as our base so when visited Jeju island and Busan ,L7 looked after our large cases when Lee toured around staff were extremely friendly and helpful best location to stay 100 yards from subway and hongdae food and nightlife a street away 🥰
I loved this hotel and the suite was amazing.
Extremely spacious, clean with great facilities. There was a lovely view and very close to a train station and huge shopping centre. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. A definite place I would stay again when back in South Korea!
Great location. Few minutes walk to Myeongdong eating and shopping streets. Very near to Myeongdong Cathedral.
We had cheap and good traditional Korean meals in the many eateries around the hotel. Airport bus in front of hotel was very handy! Taxi fares are very reasonable.....we didn't need the subways.
Quite a spacious hotel room especially for South Korea, located near a great locals market and close to Kan Full cartoon street - off the main tourist areas so it's nice if you're wanting a break, but still very close to the metro if you want to explore and get into the more popular areas of the city
Grand Hyatt Seoul is old, but has been one of the best hotels in Korea for a very long time. It has everything you can get from a top hotel including various restaurants, bars, ice skating rink, outdoor/indoor swimming pool, with a great view of either Namsan or Seoul.
Best location around Hongdae. Close to everything. Room has a modern and traditional feeling combined. Staff was very helpful and some speak very good English. Helped us book Taxi to the airport, since Uber/UT isn’t very usable in South Korea based on our experience
this is second time we staying in this hotel, the location is the best as it is close to samsung station and close to coex ,easy access to airport bus services, close to gangnam station, can get around easy with subway or bus
Exceptional clean and comfortable room. Finally find a stay in Korea with a good toilet. Modern decor with all needed facilities. Better than expected breakfast. Best location in hongdae since on the building with animate.
