Ideally located in Tokyo, HOTEL VARKIN Ikebukuro Nishiguchi offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Room was big, clean and it even had a hot relaxation room. If you don`t mind the fact that it`s a love hotel then it`s very hard to find more value for your money from Tokyo. Location was also good.

Located in the centre of Tokyo, Dormy Inn Ikebukuro is situated 300 metres from Higashi-Ikebukuro Central Park and 700 metres from Hinodechou Park. Good location, walking distance from the bus & metro station. The room was clean, had a nice japanese aesthetic, and the bed was very comfortable. The facilities and amenities were superb. We could use the public onsen anytime. There were complimentary ice cream, yakult and sports drink. They also prpvidrd a nice pijama to be used during your stay. The restaurant served free shoyu ramen at night. Staff was very helpful in arranging my luggage transfer.

Ideally situated in the Toshima district of Tokyo, APA Hotel Yamanote Otsuka Eki Tower is situated a 2-minute walk from Otsukadai Park. The personel was nice, everything was clean and looked good, and it was always possible to get help.

Well set in the Toshima district of Tokyo, APA Hotel Komagome Ekimae is set 1.1 km from Nishigahara Minna no Park, 1.4 km from Sugamo Jizo-dori Shopping Street and 1.4 km from Sogo Recreation Park. The hotel is very well positioned close to the metro and provides easy access to all the major tourists attractions thanks to this. Staff is also very helpful and kind, and the hotel was very clean and quiet. I will definitely be booking the hotel again on my next trip.

Set in Tokyo, just a minute walk from JR Sugamo Station's A4 Exit, APA Hotel Sugamo Ekimae features a public bath and compact yet functional rooms with free WiFi access. Many restaurants nearby although Sugamo is a small part of Tokyo. Hotel is very near train station 1-2 mins walk and only few stops to Nippori to take skyliner to Narita airport. Onsen on top floor to relax after a long day of walking.

Conveniently located a 4-minute walk from JR Ikebukuro Station east exit, Keio Presso Inn Ikebukuro features compact rooms with free WiFi. Great location. Small room but did not feel squishy. Had everything we needed. Very friendly staff. Quiet location.

Situated just a 5-minute walk from JR Ikebukuro Station, the Super Hotel Inn Ikebukuro-Eki Kitaguchi offers cosy guest rooms and paid Japanese-style breakfast. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The staff were very helpful. It was my first onsen experience in Japan, so I didn't know what to expect. I asked the staff at the reception counter for advice, and they very gladly gave me an introduction to onsen etiquette. The staff I asked was actually male and wasn't familiar with the female bathhouse, but he made sure to check with his colleagues before giving me the information, which was very kind of him. The onsen was quiet when I got in, not many people were using it. There's only 1 pool available, but it's more than enough for a good soak after a long day. I would recommend bringing your own makeup cleanser as the one provided may not be powerful enough for a deep cleanse if you wear thick makeup. The hotel provides a choice of amenities at the reception desk, and even a drinks bar during nighttime! It was definitely one of the most welcoming hotels I've been to!

A 2-minute walk from JR Mejiro Station on Tokyo's Yamanote Train Line (loop line), Richmond Hotel Tokyo Mejiro offers Western-style rooms with free Wi-Fi and an air purifier. The room is spacious and clean. Price is very reasonable for such good accommodation. Location is very strategic, within walking distance from Mejiro Station. Through Mejiro Station, you can take Yamanote Line which basically go to some strategic spots for tourists. Overall we are glad to choose Richmond Hotel Mejiro. Will recommend it to friends who's travelling to Japan ;)
