Great restaurant around. Most of the sightseeing attraction is reachable within 10-30min. Friendly staff. Smoking area is “hidden” outside 1 min from the entrance.

APA Hotel is always a delight to stay at. Komagome was not only the prefect location but also very affordable. Our flight got delayed and they allowed a late check in for us after 12am.

Many restaurants nearby although Sugamo is a small part of Tokyo. Hotel is very near train station 1-2 mins walk and only few stops to Nippori to take skyliner to Narita airport. Situated just a 5-minute walk from JR Ikebukuro Station, the Super Hotel Inn Ikebukuro-Eki Kitaguchi offers cosy guest rooms and paid Japanese-style breakfast. Free WiFi is available in all areas. we did not try the breakfast but the location was excellent, just a few minutes walk from Ikebukuro station. The little extra amenities really put it over the top, we especially liked the option to choose different pillow types and softness.

A 2-minute walk from JR Mejiro Station on Tokyo's Yamanote Train Line (loop line), Richmond Hotel Tokyo Mejiro offers Western-style rooms with free Wi-Fi and an air purifier. Great hotel and amazing location. Very close to Shinjuku, Shibuya and Ikebukuro via the JR Yamanote line. It was nice to return to Mejiro at the end of the day as it's more peaceful. Loved the big bath in our washroom. The pillows were perfect I wish I had them at my home. Room was also really big compared to usual Tokyo size rooms. The hotel staff was amazing, the kind lady at the counter in the morning had such nice energy and we were able to communicate very well using Google Translate and her translator device (due to my lack of Japanese). They were also so kind and allowed us to store our bag with them for a week. Thank you for everything.
