The hotel is located in a great area for those who love shopping and geek culture, as it is only a block away from Sunshine City, with amazing facilities. I've booked this hotel specifically for it's onsens and it did not disappoint. Also, there were plenty of free snacks such ice-cream after your bath , yakult in the morning and even a late night ramen if you're feeling peckish, included with the price of your stay. I'll definitely be back here for my next trip!

Ideally situated in the Toshima district of Tokyo, APA Hotel Yamanote Otsuka Eki Tower is situated a 2-minute walk from Otsukadai Park. Choosing the APA Hotel was a great - and very positive - surprise. My stay here was splendid and I was impressed by the location (functional and convenient for any traveler to get around Tokyo); by the excellent, numerous and impeccable services of the hotel (I travel a lot and hardly have I seen such a high level of professionalism and attention to detail in hospitality); by the comfort and beauty offered by the rooms (mine was very, very small and at times moving luggage was difficult - but that is the only criticism I can make); by the kind, knowledgeable and very professional staff.

Conveniently located a 4-minute walk from JR Ikebukuro Station east exit, Keio Presso Inn Ikebukuro features compact rooms with free WiFi. Honestly, a 10 out of 10. Everything was perfect! The location, staff, cleanliness, facilities, and comfort level were exceptional. There is a convenience store right beside the hotel entrance, and Ikebukuro Station and shopping malls are all within a 5 to 10-minute walk. Staff were very kind and friendly. The hotel room and toilet were spacious and clean, and the bed was not too soft or hard. They also use the ReFa showerhead for the shower. Free hotel buffet breakfast is included and there is a variety of food choices to choose from: croissants, pies, rice, pasta salad, soups, hot and cold drinks, and more. Guests can also wash their clothes in the laundry room. They provide the number of room keycards according to the number of guests so that everyone would have one.

Situated just a 5-minute walk from JR Ikebukuro Station, the Super Hotel Inn Ikebukuro-Eki Kitaguchi offers cosy guest rooms and paid Japanese-style breakfast. Free WiFi is available in all areas. The staff were very helpful. It was my first onsen experience in Japan, so I didn't know what to expect. I asked the staff at the reception counter for advice, and they very gladly gave me an introduction to onsen etiquette. The staff I asked was actually male and wasn't familiar with the female bathhouse, but he made sure to check with his colleagues before giving me the information, which was very kind of him. The onsen was quiet when I got in, not many people were using it. There's only 1 pool available, but it's more than enough for a good soak after a long day. I would recommend bringing your own makeup cleanser as the one provided may not be powerful enough for a deep cleanse if you wear thick makeup. The hotel provides a choice of amenities at the reception desk, and even a drinks bar during nighttime! It was definitely one of the most welcoming hotels I've been to!

Hotel Resol Ikebukuro is only a 2-minute walk from Exit 1 of Higashi Ikebukuro Station on the Yurakucho Subway Line. Outstanding location, bed was comfortable and really loved the overall service

Offering rooms with free WiFi and a kitchenette, Hotel MyStays Higashi-Ikebukuro is just a minute's walk from Mukohara Station and a 7 minute walk from JR Otsuka Train Station on the Yamanote Line. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel. Walking distance to the train station. I was using JR pass to get there so very convenient. Across the street from the hotel there are shops and restaurants. The room itself was more specious than I expected. Bed was on a smaller side but comfortable enough for 2 people. Very clean and equipped with a small fridge , kettle and microwave. Staff working at reception was very polite and helpful.

The stylish Sunshine City Prince Hotel Ikebukuro Tokyo features 4 dining options and a 24-hour convenience shop. It's located in the Sunshine City complex, only 800 metres from JR Ikebukuro Station. The room was big, service was good. Overall was good.

Just 500 metres from JR Ikebukuro Train Station, House Ikebukuro offers Japanese rooms with free Wi-Fi, tatami-mat flooring and traditional futon bedding. Afordable Tokyo experience, very close to Ikebukuro station and tasty ramen ;). Helpful staff. Surprisingly quiet for such part of the city.
