Unsui 武雄蓬莱町 雲水 is set in the Takeo Onsen district of Takeo, 48 km from Yoshinogari Historical Park, 37 km from Huis Ten Bosch and less than 1 km from Takeo-Onsen Station. We had a lovely time staying in this traditional Japanese style apartment. It is tidy and spacious, has lots of details hidden around the corners. The host was very friendly, responsive and helpful, provided detailed suggestions about placed worth visiting in Takeo and even guided us to see fireflies at night. The day we checkout out of the apartment we forgot backpack on the bus, the host was kind enough to contact the bus company for us right away. This is by far the most pleasant stay we ever had in any country.

Situated in Takeo, a 10-minute drive from JR Takeo-Onsen Station, Urari Takeo Garden Terrace Spa Resorts boasts air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi throughout the property. I was hesitant to book this resort initially as there was only 1 recent review when I booked, and the older reviews of the original hotel were not that good. However, I decided to take a chance and I'm so glad I did!!! The resort is newly renovated and all the furnishings and decor are all very clean and new. The resort location was ideal as I wanted to be located near Mifuneyama Rakuen so I could go see the Autumn colours at night (only 6 min drive away). The facilities on the resort were fantastic.... the spa pool required swimsuits which the resort thoughtfully prepared for each guest, all packed in individual tote bags. The hot spring pool was a a bit small, but the resort was not packed when we stayed, so there were no other people around when we used the spa pool or hot spring. But what impressed me the most has to be the amazing service we received. Most of the staff did not speak English or could only speak minimal English, but they always tried their best to understand our needs, and made us feel so comfortable. The staff's dedication and service quality are top-notch. The food was so amazing as well (The sukiyaki dinner and Japanese breakfast included in the stay were so good!)

Ryokan Kyotoya is 2 minutes from JR Takeo Onsen Train Station via the hotel’s free shuttle. It features natural hot-spring baths and multi-course Japanese meals in an elegant classical setting. Very fantastic for Service, Location, Onsen is very clean.
