Located in Okuhida Onsen Village among the Japanese Alps, Hodakaso Yamano Hotel features 7 public hot-spring baths and a fireplace lounge. Rooms offer beautiful mountain views and a private bathroom. Location spectacular. Outside onsen was beautiful with a snow covered mountain view. Food excellent and service wonderful . Highly recommend the full dinner.

The private onsen are great. The included dinner is one of the best I have ever had - really fantastic. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff

Hakuunsou enjoys a location in Takayama, 30 miles from Takayama Station and 16 miles from Kamikochi. This ryokan features free private parking and luggage storage space. The onsen was amazing with a few options if you wanted something outside or indoors. The hostess was extremely helpful and friendly, and cooked great meals. The decor is fantastic and was everything I had hoped for when coming to Japan.
