Situated conveniently in the Ikuchi Island district of Onomichi, yubune is set 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, 27 km from Saikon-ji Temple and 31 km from Saikokuji Temple. I wasn't expecting much, but Setoda and Yubune Hotel surpassed my expectation. Design wise very sophisticated, comfortable and spacious for Japan standard. The common area on the 2nd floor was beautiful, and most importantly The Sentō! 10/10, definitely the main highlight of this hotel, you get to relax in hot water after a long day of exploring the island!

SOIL Setoda features a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Onomichi. Located around 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple, the hotel with free WiFi is also 31 km away from Saikokuji Temple. Beautiful location mid Shimanami Kaido for us. Clean and comfortable. Good location to restaurants on the local strip. Would stay again

Shimanami Osayo no Yado - Vacation STAY 16166 is set in the Ikuchi Island district of Onomichi, 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, 28 km from Saikon-ji Temple and 31 km from Saikokuji Temple. The host was exceptional. Dinner and breakfast was included and both were traditional Japanese and delicious. Our host was so kind and drove us to the bike oasis where we hired our bikes. We absolutely loved the islands in the seto sea and it was wonderful to be staying on one of them and made to feel so welcome. The whole experience was a major highlight of our stay!

Set in Onomichi, 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, BONAPOOL offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. The view from our semi-double room of the sea was amazing, as well as from most of the front part of the hotel because of the glass all around. The hotel is new (just opened in April, I was told) and modern with a nice pantry on the second floor, in addition to a common kitchen island on the first floor. There was plenty of seating inside the main lobby area as well as outside to gather and relax. On the second floor, there's a balcony with a couple of tables and chairs for drinks and meals, and a bigger table and more chairs in the loft lobby. Yes, there's a lift so cyclists can sleep with their bikes in their room! (Setoda is on the Shimanami Kaido after all) The bathroom are generous in proportion and facilities. The hotel has brand new bikes for free use by the guests, very handy for getting to the town and shops, and for sightseeing. There are lots of nice touches provided by the hotel, like a towel basket for each guest. The furnishing and finishing are simple but immaculate. What else can I say? We didn't want to leave...!

LEMON FARM GLAMPING simanami, a property with barbecue facilities, is set in Onomichi, 26 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, 29 km from Saikon-ji Temple, as well as 32 km from Saikokuji Temple. Staff were amazing. We arrived late after a long cycle and didn’t have time to stop for food. So they drove us to the local supermarket. Such an incredible gesture. Facilities were great also. We highly recommend to everyone ❤️

Located just 25 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, Azumi Setoda provides accommodation in Onomichi with access to a garden, a shared lounge, as well as a 24-hour front desk. Amazing stay at Azumi Setoda, probably one of the best accommodation of our trip. The room is beautifully furnished, the hotel overall has a great design. The staff was super welcoming and helpful. I also highly recommend the restaurant and the onsen!

Tsukasa went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great stay in Setoda. Great communication, very friendly and was able to provide lots of information about the area. Good value, very convenient location and a nice view from our room. Communal lounge area and rooftop also available for guests.

24 km from Oogamiyama Omoto Shrine, Bed&Cafe Onzo オンゾー is a recently renovated property situated in Onomichi and features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and private parking. Reo-san was an extremely humble host and always goes the extra mile for his guests. As I was leaving, Reo-san noticed I forgot my charger and biked to the Kosanji shrine (where I told him I was going) to give the charger back to me. I am super grateful for that. You can tell he takes good care of the hostel as the facilities are up to date and very clean. There are also many basic hygiene products that you wouldn't normally find at a hotel or hostel, like floss or mouthwash. The room I was given was a very good deal and the bed was comfy. The room came with two armchairs, a coffee table, a television, a fridge, cups with tea and a bunk bed. For the price, there isn't a better spot to stay in the area.
