Situated in the city of Nagano, Kurobe Kanko Hotel is a 15-minute public bus ride from JR Shinano-Omachi Train Station. We don't usually stay at big hotels but this one has perfected everything you need for a comfortable, wonderful stay. We had a large, clean, bright traditional room. The onsens were great. The buffet breakfast was vast and delicious. Free parking. Helpful service. We chose to eat out for dinner (Shino Izakaya - superb!) so can't comment on that. The location was the best - alongside a riverwalk in a gorgeous part of the region. Most other hotels in the area looked a bit empty so this is definitely the place to stay in this part of town. Lovely!

Boasting various hot spring baths including open-air baths and foot baths, Hotel Keisui offers traditional Japanese-style guestrooms. It provides a ski storage/dry room and free Wi-Fi at public... The staff were exceptional and the meals they provided were very well prepared; it was a small team and they have made us feel very relaxed and welcomed during our stay. The traditional ryokan experience was one of the best we had of Japan. Love the place!
