I loved everything about this hotel - we were originally going to stay for 2 nights but we eventually ended up staying for 4. it was such a lovely experience especially after staying in cramped places in Tokyo and chain hotels that are often very cramped. staff were friendly and accommodating location is beautiful loved the unbrellas and the paintings onsen was brilliant : indoor, outdoor too

Located in Nikko, 19 km from Tobu Nikko Station and 20 km from Nikko Station, Kinugawa Station Front room A offers air conditioning. Modern, clean, comfortable beds, spacious for a family. A very short walk from train station, using the foot bridge that goes from the station and over the railway tracks. We found it easy with our big suitcases.Has an auto-fill bathtub, and auto-reheats the bath water too. 3 comfortable double beds in one room, plus a tatami room. Toilet upstairs and downstairs. Kitchen has everything you need to make meals, incl fridge, microwave, rice cooker and kettle. Laundry liquid supplied for washing machine. Lawsons store nearby for groceries. Instructions provided in English in the house manual for operating the washing machine and hot water and appliances. A wonderful stay and we would highly recommend this if you want to be near Edo Wonderland (4km away) (there is a local bus, shuttle bus and taxi) and the suspension bridge walk to the lookout (12min walk). Easy to get a train to Nikko to see the shrines and abyss - highly recommend to book in advance the free volunteer guide Yumiko to show you around Nikko.

Located right next to Kinugawa River and offering the views of the valley, Nanaeyae boasts open-air hot spring baths and delicately prepared seasonal Japanese course meals. It was our first time staying in a ryokan, and it did gave us a really good impression. Property itself was nice, located in a small town beside the river. Room was facing the river so we can hear the soothing noise from the river. Dinner was excellent--food kept on coming, great quality, great variety. They even managed to cater our diet (without pork and alcohol). I love the outdoor onsen. It's very relaxing to soak in the hot water facing the river.

Situated in Nikko in the Tochigi region, with Kinu Tateiwa Otsuribashi (Suspension bridge) and Tateiwa Kinu Hime Shrine nearby, Rakuten STAY MOTEL Nikko Kinugawa Standard Room offers accommodation... The room is new, spacious and very clean. Everything is in excellent condition. I love the poppin projector and the private onsen inside the room. Really enjoyed it! 😍
