Its a traditional Japanese house, its always clean and kitchen has everything you need. Bon is a really kind person, always willing to help and he speaks english very well. Bon gave us many tips and local recommendation. Its just perfect.

In the Kita Ward district of Kyoto, close to Kinkaku-ji Temple, Nachiya has a garden and a washing machine. Lovely traditional style japanese house, beautiful setting and only a 5 minute walk from the daisen-in and daitoku-ji temples. Lots of bus stops near by so you can get places. Buses are also quite cheap only 230 yen flat fee for a one way trip (approx £1.50 gbp at time of writing). So even though this place is about 30 mins bus journey from kyoto station it doesn't matter because it won't necessarily cost more.

The owner met us at the metro station and helped with our luggage. We were also given the opportunity to rent electronic bicycles. It was a great experience to see Kyoto! Thank you so much. Great little apartment, great location and we even got picked up from the station on arrival and dropped back when we left which was most appreciated given our heavy back packs. Highly recommend this place!

Featuring quiet street views, 日照庵 Nisshouan provides accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 4.1 km from Kitano Tenmangu Shrine. Let me start with saying the host are lovebly and really kind. This was the first time of my friends and I in Kyoto, and Will absolutbly come back and stay more. We extended our stay with the Host when we saw the place, it was INCREDIBLE, amazing bathroom, and great bed, really spacious and traditional, it was a dream come true to be honest. We enjoyed the city by bikes that we rented right outside the house, the host offer us a traditional breakfast that was DELICIOUS, the sweet lady that came to leave us the food was also really kind and explain us the name of multiple things. I really wanted to take a shower in a big bathroom and this place have it, I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT. Is a place with no much things around, But the MiniStop that is a convenience store was close by going in the bikes, So if you don't mind to ride a little and enjoy the local view, go in bike and enjoy the place, just be careful, the place is in a Hill so take a good rest, i was out breath sometimes, but really LOVE IT. Btw the Washing machine is great and the place have a big balcony, so you can dry your clothes there.
