If I could give it 6 stars I would. we had a great room overlooking the river and cherry blossom (remember to boom a river view room, it’s worth it). service was outstanding and staff directed us to near by and distant restaurants and helped with booking when there was language barriers. Free excellent cold beer at the lobby. room was clean and lots of amenities including a Nespressp machine which was critical when waking up.

Situated in Kyoto and with Kyoto Imperial Palace reachable within 1.8 km, Kamo Residences by Reflections features concierge services, non-smoking rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and... Lovely location away from touristy spots but still only a ten minute taxi ride to Gion. Great to watch the local people on the river and to see the black kites. Breakfast delivered to our apartment every morning … a nice touch. One of us developed a chest infection while staying .. the staff went to extraordinary lengths to help us with the doctor and made sure we were ok. Delightful people.

Well set in Kyoto, Kyoto Earth Hotel provides air-conditioned rooms, free bikes and a garden. Very nice room, clean, shower included, jot drinks also. Close to the evening life part of the town. Just everything that you need to stay in the summer hot town.

This 5-star hotel offers a tour desk. good location with big rooms. staff is very friendly and helpful. I will recommend this place to my friends if travel to Kyoto :)

Hotel Ninja Black is well located in Kyoto, and features a garden, free WiFi and a shared lounge. Built in 2019, this 3-star hotel is within 1.9 km of Kyoto Imperial Palace and 1.6 km of Nijo Castle. I recently stayed at this hotel during my business trip, and it was amazing! The service was exceptional, and the staff went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the staff members were friendly and patient. They even provided free luggage storage, which was a great convenience. I'll definitely choose this hotel again when I return to Kyoto. Highly recommended!

Set in Nishijin, Villa Front Kyoto Seimei ヴィラフロント京都晴明 offers accommodation with a flat-screen TV and a kitchen. A microwave and kettle are also featured. Good sized unit, discounted rate for longer stays, lots of knickknacks for air quality, and generally very quiet. I would absolutely stay here again.

In a prime location in the centre of Kyoto, THE JUNEI HOTEL Kyoto Imperial Palace West provides Asian breakfast and free WiFi. We loved this hotel! We loved the quiet neighborhood, a little out of the way of the main touristy area, but not too far to walk to catch a quick taxi to those areas. It’s just a short walk to the Imperial Palace gardens, which are free and open to wander through, picnic in, or even jog or bike in (which my husband did). Our room was on the 3rd (top) floor, and, while there is no elevator, the staff brought our bags up and down, and we didn’t mind walking up the stairs at all. The room itself was LOVELY, and I very much enjoyed the bathtub! (Those with mobility issues might have a tricky time with the stairs and floor mats around the table in the room (no western-style table and chairs except at the desk in the room), but if that’s not a concern, it is a truly lovely oasis of calm! The staff all speak excellent English, and were very helpful in finding a great restaurant for dinner (including making reservations for us).

Right in front of Kyoto Imperial Palace, Kyoto Garden Palace offers free WiFi in all areas of the hotel. The hotel features a restaurant, and it provides bicycle rentals and massage services. I liked that even though I don’t smoke, I could have. The room had an ashtray. I am off the Smokey treats these days but it’s nice knowing that IF I take up the ciggies again that I have a nice option in an excellent facility.
