Central Gion and very accessible. Thank you to the staff for assisting us to retrieve some luggage we left in our taxi when we arrived. You turned a stressful situation into something that was resolved within 20 minutes. Travelling with young children is never easy and you showed us professionalism that we were delighted to see after a long journey. Thank you.

Well set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, NOHGA HOTEL KIYOMIZU KYOTO is located a 14-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 0.7 miles from Sanjusangen-do Temple and a 15-minute walk from... Design of the hotel and rooms are very modern and tasteful. Bed and pillows were really comfortable. Staff is polite and helpful Rooftop bar ambiance was so nice,food and cocktails were all very tasty. Attention to detail was obvious from quality of products on the room to the little helpful booklets about instersting places in Kyoto.

Ideally set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Gion Yasaka is located a 12-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple, 0.6 miles from Gion Shijo Station and a 17-minute walk from... Stayed for one night in a standard twin room - which had small seating area with TV screen, and a separate tatami seating area with coffee table. Everything was clean, comfortable, modern with traditional touch decor, and spacious! (not always common for Japanese hotels). There are 24/7 supermarket and Combini just 5 min walk from the hotel, and several izakaya also equally close-by - so really, nothing was missing. Location is ideal if you want to stay around in the popular "East" side of Kyoto, but without the hoard of tourists at your doorstep.

Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is located near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station. What a little gem this is, a beautiful room that is classy and really huge, beautiful view of the Kamo river, you are close to a lot of interesting places. Love to take a night stroll around the area. I have been in Kyoto 3 times, and this is the best hotel by far. Staffs speak good english and really friendly

Well situated in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Waka Heian Shirakawa Hotel is located a 6-minute walk from Shoren-in Temple, 600 yards from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and a 11-minute walk from Heian... Great location : close to many shrines we wanted to see, also close to metro station where you can easily reach to kyoto main station. Staff was great, room is clean, all additional items such as pyjamas, slippers, brush etc were very nice

Located in Kyoto, a 9-minute walk from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Elite Terrace provides accommodations with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The location is excellent. Great space, big rooms, great complimentary coffee machine in the lobby. Staff speak perfect English.

Hotel Legasta Kyoto Higashiyama Sanjo has accommodations in Kyoto near Kyoto International Manga Museum and Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple. The rooms are exceptional, well designed, and comfortable. Toilets and showers are very good. Rooms are spacious, which is rare in kyoto. Very good location 👍 Friendly and helpful staff 👍

Then awake to find everything on your doorstep, temple, food, subway entry, geishas walking to work... and of course vending machines with everything needed.
