Huge room, more like a western hotel room size. Sofa bed and table for dining in the room. Bath was jacuzzi style, with oxygenated micro bubble function in addition to traditional Japanese shower. Excellent view of the river and trees in their autumn livery. For those who have to open every cupboard and drawer in hotel rooms, there’s a surprise that awaits!

Ideally located in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Miru Kyoto Gion is located a 7-minute walk from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 400 yards from Gion Shijo Station and a 14-minute walk from Shoren-in... It was lovely to have high quality croissants and coffee for breakfast. Maybe some fruit would have been a nice additional touch? We loved the personal contact with the staff. On tablet with information was great and it had useful restaurant information however if we asked reception for restaurant recommendations all they did was point us to the ones on the "app" and ask us to choose one. They should participate in some family in local establishments so that they can make good recommendations. All the staff were friendly and warm and most have excellent to good English. We particularly appreciated that use of the laundry was complimentary. Our room size was fabulous but we did have the largest room available. For a lengthy stay this made things really comfortable.

Featuring 1-star accommodations, West Japan Kyoto Kiyomizu is located in Kyoto, a 11-minute walk from Kiyomizu-dera Temple and 0.7 miles from Gion Shijo Station. Perfect location in the heart of all the interesting stuff. Also a bus stop right around the corner to get to the train station, Golden Temple and Fushimi Inari. Easy walking distance to the river and Nishiki Market. Very comfortable room. Even though it is small there was extra space to move around, which makes a difference. We were on a corner with 2 windows which was nice. Enjoyed being able to eat breakfast in and do laundry. Wifi was usually good, slowed down occasionally probably because of traffic.

Hotel Legasta Kyoto Higashiyama Sanjo has accommodations in Kyoto near Kyoto International Manga Museum and Eikan-do Zenrin-ji Temple. Good location, everything was new and clean. Comfortable room and nice staff.

Beautiful space. Spacious and clean. Wonderful for our family of 4. Close to train station and convenience stores. Able to easily explore Kyoto. Staff was amazing, able to help us on multiple issues.
