Very friendly and useful staff and the room was great! I liked the corner of the room with tatami flooring to relax in a lot. And there were was another corner to sit on a couch to watch TV.

Awarded two pavilions by the Michelin Guide 2020, Hotel Alza Kyoto is situated near the Kamo River and within Gion District, a 2-minute walk from Sanjo Station. This is my 3rd stay at this hotel. The room is very big & comfortable. Nice view of Kamogawa River. Location is superb close to Sanjo & Gion where so many restaurants are closed by. Also close to bus station and convenient stores.

Set in Kyoto, 500 metres from Shoren-in Temple, Waka Heian Shirakawa Hotel features views of the city. Great location : close to many shrines we wanted to see, also close to metro station where you can easily reach to kyoto main station. Staff was great, room is clean, all additional items such as pyjamas, slippers, brush etc were very nice

Located in Kyoto, less than 1 km from Gion Shijo Station, Gion Elite Terrace provides accommodation with a shared lounge, private parking, a terrace and a restaurant. The location is in Gion area, an amazing hotel with very friendly staff!! The two large beds are very comfortable, we have a private sauna and a large balcony. Everything about this place is amazing!

Set in the Higashiyama Ward district in Kyoto, West Japan Kyoto Kiyomizu offers 1-star rooms with free WiFi. Perfect location in the heart of all the interesting stuff. Also a bus stop right around the corner to get to the train station, Golden Temple and Fushimi Inari. Easy walking distance to the river and Nishiki Market. Very comfortable room. Even though it is small there was extra space to move around, which makes a difference. We were on a corner with 2 windows which was nice. Enjoyed being able to eat breakfast in and do laundry. Wifi was usually good, slowed down occasionally probably because of traffic.

The room was unbelievable, it was big and well equipped. All with a traditional Japanese looking, and we loved our polite toilet. Well located, we reach most of our attractions just walking, there is also a beautiful shire near by. And the staff were all super, there is coffee, tea and juice 24h if you want to have one.

Well set in the Higashiyama Ward district of Kyoto, Rinn Gion Kenninji Villa is set 1.1 km from Samurai Kembu Kyoto, 1.5 km from Shoren-in Temple and 1.7 km from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious, beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and has everything that we need! Bed was very comfortable. Location is fantastic at a really pretty part of Kyoto with easy access to areas of interest and also public transport. Would definitely stay here again. We loved our stay.
