Hotels in Tokachidake Onsen, Kami-furano

The hotel on the highest altitude in Hokkaido at 1,280 metres high, Ryounkaku features outdoor and indoor hot spring baths, a 5-minute walk from the ski area at Mount Furano-dake. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and the location is perfect for backcountry skiing in the winter. The onsen is wonderful.

Located right in the Tokachigawa hot spring area, Kamihoroso offers traditional Japanese-style accommodation with tatami (woven-straw) flooring and futon bedding. Real Japanese hotel, so nice and friendly staff. It was perfect, thank you so much! Very nice Onsen and incredible views down to the valley.
