Kaga Modern Onsen Ryokan, located along the Kakusenkei Gorge which is the most beautiful valley in the Hokuriku region. Had an enjoyable and relaxing stay here. We travelled from Osaka for one night, which was quite out of our way but we wanted to try the onsen experience. The onsen itself was quite empty when we went - I was often the only person there. The food was plentiful with an interesting range of dishes to try. We did the walk along the river which was a winter wonderland!

Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Great location to explore during the day. Very clean. Delicious meals. Fantastic experience, the pictures don't do it justice.
