Dinner is absolutely amazing, what a treat. We thought the food was really just outstanding. The staff were lovely and the rooms and the whole place is grown up without being stuffy.

Loved the entire facility - was fantastic for a family (2 adults, 2 kids under 6 + grandparents). We booked two rooms and they were super spacious, lots of room to lounge about and also for the kids to jump and get their energy out. On-site facilities were fantastic - private onsen bath in our bathroom was amazing to relax in, plus the "public" onsen was also super relaxing. There was a play area for kids which they really enjoyed, and the kids loved the free snacks, icy poles and hot chocolate/soft drinks. Breakfast was buffet and delicious. Was very easy to get to - just 5 mins walk from Gora station, and super easy to catch cable car up mountain or train to do the Hakone Loop. Also walking distance to the Hakone Open Air museum. Overall very very family friendly, and we spent a couple of afternoons just enjoying the very relaxing atmosphere.

Super spacious room, private onsen with a view. Great skincare product samples provided for free. Breakfast had a very wide variety of food and tasted delicious. Staff were friendly.

Hot-spring baths look out on Hakone’s mountain forests at HAKONE GORA ONSEN Hotel Kasansui, 1804 feet from Sounzan Train Station. Massages and Japanese cuisine are offered. Dinner and breakfast is included. And they were delicious and gorgeous experiences! You can wear the traditional given robe to restaurant area. We enjoed it a lot:)

Hot spring was very comfortable with a variety of different baths. Nice room with tatami. Room had both normal beds and futons, so you can either try new sleeping style or stick to the European classic.

Hotel Marroad Hakone offers relaxing indoor/outdoor hot-spring baths and a sauna room. Guests can use free Wi-Fi at the public area. The food was excellent!! The waitresses were very friendly and tried hard to introduce me all their dishes and ingredients despite the language barrier. The room we booked was very clean and new. The onsen experience was also very pleasant. Overall I highly recommend this place.
