あぽろん is situated in the Gujo Hachiman district of Gujo, 32 km from Washigatake Ski Resort, 35 km from Nichiryubu-ji Temple and 37 km from Dynaland Ski Resort. This homestay is in a fabulous location, right on the beautiful river and just a very short walk to the main part of town (and the best coffee we had in Japan!). The house has been renovated throughout and is spacious and very comfortable. Our upstairs area had two tatami bedrooms and two sitting rooms, which was a fantastic amount of space for our family. Only one section (and one bedroom) we were able to lock which didn't bother us but is worth mentioning. The downstairs areas (bathroom, kitchen, laundry etc) are shared with the host who was obviously very considerate of our privacy and space. Parking was free and directly outside the house, which was an additional bonus. The beds were comfortable and we slept well with the sounds of the river. Gujo Hachiman is an absolutely wonderful, charming town and the highlight of our trip. Highly recommend this as a place to visit!

Located right in front of Yoshida River, Miharaya Ryokan offers Japanese-style accommodations and traditional multi-course meals. Miharaya Ryokan was delightful! The location is stunning, found beside a rushing river (which is lovely to fall asleep to, not to loud, but soothing). The room was spacious, came with a kotatsu, futon and of course an excellent view. The staff were helpful, attentive and kind, and the provided breakfast was plentiful.

Traditional multi-course dinners, air-conditioned Western-style rooms with Yukata robes await guests at Hotel Sekisuien, which offers hilltop views and a peaceful forest setting. Staffs Service excellent, helpful , stunning place to stay, big beautiful clean room
