Featuring free WiFi and a terrace with views of the city, Hotel Palazzo Grillo is set in a historical building in Genoa, 300 metres from Genova aquarium. One of the best stays we’ve ever had. Hotel has history and soul. The staff is very helpful. Very clean rooms, very good breakfast. Right in the historic center. There is no car park, you have to park your car outside of the historic center(Italy standard). Around 21 euro/day if you choose hotel’s suggestion to park your car.

Only 750 metres from the famous Aquarium and Antico Porto exhibition area, Hotel Doria is in Genoa city centre. This boutique hotel offers accommodation in a 1952 building. The location is great, I wish I knew about the metro earlier to make the journey easier from the station!! But equally, I enjoyed the walk :) great value for money all around!

The Bristol Palace features an impressive elliptical staircase, leading to its elegant rooms. This historic building is in central Genoa, 100 metres from Piazza De Ferrari. Beautifully maintained hotel, with a lovely restaurant and bar. Staff were lovely and helpful. I’ll definitely visit again. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom had full set of toiletries.
