This is a brilliant hotel, well placed just across the Arno from the chaotic city centre. Set back from the road, with a lovely courtyard, it provided us with a quiet and comfortable haven. Our room was spacious and well designed, also very quiet indeed. The breakfasts were delightful and plentiful, with excellent service. The bar service, in the lobby, was great. We really appreciated the on-site parking, which is rare in Florence.

Locatia foarte buna, aproape de centru. Am stat 3 nopti intr-o camera tripla cu baie spatioasa. Foarte curat, ne-am simtit foarte bine. Cladirea tocmai ce s-a terminat de renovat pe fatada. Din pacate nu ne-am putut bucura de fatada ei pentru ca inca nu apucasera sa ridice schelele. Sunt convinsa ca rezultatul este spectaculos. Apreciem istoria cladirii si arhitectura tipic florentina.

The hotel is perfectly located in San Frediano surrounded by many places to dine and visit some galleries and arty places. The room was breath taking with high ceiling (well - a palace), spacious and with a great shower. Although visiting in December, the room temperature was really pleasant (great heating). There was no problem with the street noise. The staff is helpful with sharing their tips for dining and visiting places.

I managed to contact Marko with the help of hotel neighbors, it turned out that he was out of town, but the hotel has safes where the keys to each room are stored. He told me the code to my safe and I was able to return to my room. Marko also offered me vouchers for a free breakfast, as an apology for the fact that small construction work was being carried out nearby. It was so kind and so sweet of him. I was very touched that he took care of me. I could feel discomfort from the noise and he took this into account and made such a sign of attention. My room was very comfortable, with a small kitchen that had everything you needed - cutlery, plates, pots, kettle, tea and cookies. And even a corkscrew for opening wine!) The location of the hotel is also great, a 10-minute walk from the Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens - these are the most beautiful sights of Florence.
