Set in a 19th-century villa by the banks of the River Arno, Hotel Arno Bellariva is 2953 feet from Piazza Michelangelo square. It offers a garden and patio, plus free WiFi throughout. Absolutely lovely staff!! Always helpful and pleasant. Though it’s far from the center, buses run right out front!

Hotel Grifone Firenze - Urban Pool & Spa offers rooms in a quiet, residential area of Florence with excellent transport links. The hotel is not very far from the city center- only 25-30 minutes walk either on the river side or through a very nice city area with restaurants and shopping stores. Or you could opt for the bus (1.5 eur per person per trip)- the bus station is very closed to the hotel. The location is very good being in a nice and quiet area of the city. The hotel offers a parking lot. Staff is very professional, friendly and oriented to fulfill guests demands. Room service - perfect: we ate some delicious cakes we would recommend to try (unfortunately forgot the names). There are bathrobes, sleepers, all needed amenities. The shower is great (hot water and prefect water pressure) We totally recommend the hotel.

Fiorino House is located in Florence, just 1.7 miles from Ponte Vecchio and 1.7 miles from Uffizi Gallery. A highly recommended place to stay in Florence. Not in town centre, so away from traffic and noise. It is situated in a quiet residential area, on a quiet street, so no noise from outside. In any case the accommodation is to the rear of the building on the ground floor. Excellent and frequent bus service minutes from the flat to reach the town centre and/or railway station in around 15/20 minutes. Everything you need is there. Friendly owner, who met us at the flat for keys and introduction, also left some coffee, tea, biscuits, jam and even Nutella for first breakfast. Some other basic groceries too! Endless opportunities for shopping nearby. We didn't have a car....

Located at only 164 feet from the beginning of the Unesco historical center and at the 3rd floor of an early 19th-century building, with a cargo-elevator suitable only for luggages. The room was very comfortable and always very clean. The location is really great, you can walk to every site you want to visit, but if you don’t want that, there is plenty of transportation close by. The hosts (Sergio and Ada) are really REALLY nice! The best!
