Le Funi Hotel is a charming hotel, set in a quiet area of Bergamo Alta. It is close to the historic center of the medieval town. Excellent location: close to Colle Aperto bus station (direct line to/from the airport and train station. Also close to the major attractions in Citta Alta: Piazza Vecchia, Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore, Duomo, etc.) You can also easily reach the beautiful walking path along the Venetian Walls (Viale della Mura). Breakfast had a very good selection; you can order from a set menu which is on display. The Deluxe room was quite big with a wonderful view over the city, big bathroom and very comfortable bed. The staff is extremely kind and helpful and they make you feel very welcome. Grazie mille!
