Cool hotel, we were pleasantly surprised that for such a price we got cleanliness and comfort. Asya's furniture is new. The bed is clean. The hotel itself after the renovation. The beach is a minute's walk.)

Set amid lush tropical gardens, just a 5-minute walk to Balian Surfing Beach, Pondok Pisces features traditional style bungalows. The view was lovely stretching to the beach, the bungalow is peaceful and a nice, simple getaway. At night you can hear the ocean soaring. Good price/quality ratio overall. The people at the place are friendly and really forthcoming.

Featuring a balcony with garden views, an infinity pool and a garden, Balian Prana can be found in Selemadeg, close to Balian Beach and 41 km from Tanah Lot Temple. This is a very special place. I had visited Balian in 2014 for its perfect left hand break. This visit was to reset mentally. Balian Prana allowed us to do just this. Mr Dwi and his small team were welcoming, there when needed and absent when not required. We felt that for 2 lovely days, this place was ours. There was another family in the other presidential villa across and back from us, although we never really felt they were there. We ordered in from local restaurants, which was fine as there is no typical kitchen /room service other than for breakfast, but this was just fine. It added to the non-hotel, secluded feel which is what we were looking for. Our dinners ordered in were enjoyed on the balcony of the main house in which the attentive staff assisted us with setting up. All this while allowing our minds to run free as light danced off the swimming pool and ocean beyond from beautiful sunsets.

The villa is less than a 2 minutes walk to the beach and a number of excellent warungs, cafes and restaurants. The owner is a wealth of knowledge in all things Balian, surfing, best eateries, yoga, local attractions and always ready to help out/ answer questions if need be. The villa’s cleaning and gardening staff were excellent.

Located in Tabanan, Beach Villa Balian offers a beachfront, riverside retreat with a private pool, garden and a gazebo. Free Wi-Fi is accessible in all areas. Our stay was amazing. Arsa was so helpful and always checked in on us to made sure we had everything we needed. Located right on the beach and in walking distance of all you could want - yoga, restaurants, surf, night markets etc!

Nestled within tropical greenery, Gubug Balian Beach Bungalow is situated 20 metres from Balian Beach surf break. It features simple rooms with private terraces or balconies. Surroundings were beautiful. In a cul de sac of Balian with black sand beach and huts, cafes within walking distance. The pool and the bar was amazing with great service. Room/bathroom was clean.
