Built in 1925 and classified as a monument, the GDM Megaron is located in the heart of Heraklion, overlooking the old Venetian port and within walking distance of all the major sights of the city. Well appointed clean room, friendly staff and excellent breakfast in an excellent location.

Within 100 metres from the city centre, Kastro Hotel is well-situated for exploring the ancient sites of Heraklion. It offers spacious, air-conditioned rooms with breakfast included in the rate. The room had everything I like to find in a hotel room: a small kettle, some tea and coffee samples. The bathroom is nice and clean, bed is very comfortable. View on the sea... There was a nice rooftop at our floor. The room exceeded my expectations.

Ideally situated in Heraklio Town, Ethereal White Resort Hotel & Spa features air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi, free private parking and room service. This is a new hotel which we booked last minute. The staff were very helpful getting us settled after a near midnight arrival. The two rooms we had were comfortable, clean, modern and well equipped. The layout of the suites was very considered and plenty of nice little touches. The staff were knowledgeable and advised us on how to get into the centre and around town and the sights to see, all of which was good advice. The restaurant staff were very careful regarding a food allergy and went out of their way to assist, cook something different etc. Very attentive and passed on information to other staff when there were shift changes. Breakfast was varied, fresh and well prepared. Lots of beautiful fresh fruit, breads, omelettes, cereals and juices. Good amenities - rooftop pool with bar, spa etc. Quiet area at night but close to excellent restaurants. Could not be faulted.

Olive Green Hotel is centrally located in Heralkion, right in the lively shopping area of the town. I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was spotless and comfortable, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and accommodating. I can't wait to come back and enjoy their hospitality again.
