Perfect location to explore Chania and west part of Crete - 20min on foot to Chania downtown, 1hr to Balos, 1.5hr to Elafonissi, 1.5hr to Preveli beach, 1hr to Samaria gorge. Free parking. Amazing breakfast with real orange juice! Nice, clean rooms.Daily room service. Good wi-wi. Shalow beach downstairs, very good for families with small kids. Friendly staff. 10/10. Super! Better than others 2*, 3* or even 4* hotels!

The family-run Frini Hotel is located right across the beach of Nea Chora, 0.6 mi away from the Old Town of Chania. It offers air-conditioned rooms with balcony. Location is excellent. On promenade and sea view is beautiful. Staff really nice. All of them friendly and helpful. Lots of restaurant/cafes along the promenade and more in Chania harbour which takes roughly 10-15 minutes to walk either along the promenade or the back road behind the hotel. Frini hotel have their own sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach in front for only €8 for two beds and an umbrella. Great value. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend Frini to anyone staying in Chania.

The family-run Danaos offers a friendly and relaxed base in the heart of Chania, just a short walk from Chania’s Venetian harbor and right next to the beautiful sandy beach of Nea Chora. all the staff were so friendly and helpful…especially the lady at breakfast who willingly carried trays to outside tables location perfect…definitely book a sea view room

It is a quick walk to the beach or bus station and old town, but still in a quiet neighborhood.
