The centrally located Heathmount Hotel is 10 minutes’ walk from Inverness Castle, and offers Scottish whisky, Illy coffee and freshly mixed cocktails in its 2 contrasting bars. The room was very well decorated or appointed? Bed was very comfortable and shower was superb. Girl behind bar was very friendly and approachable.would deffo highly recommend

The Chieftain Hotel in Inverness offers bed and breakfast accommodation, within a 4-minute drive of the city centre and train station. Great place to stay , great food and helpful staff. Played pool and darts most of the evening. Couldn't fault it .

Opposite Inverness Castle, Best Western Palace Hotel & Spa is located on the banks of the River Ness. Very good location at center practically everything is 0-5min walk. Nice rooms & spa center, good breakfast and cosy bar. Very kind people, who helped parking the car and make you feel welcome .
