Offering a shared garden and city view, at 300 metres from Portobello Beach and 3 km from Arthurs Seat. Lovely cozy apartment, beautifully decorated. Had everything needed for a more than comfortable stay. Appreciated the welcome touches of tea, coffee, milk, wine, fruits, chocolates and other snacks. Spotlessly clean. Lots of reading material and some games. Comfortable beds with lovely linen and big soft towel sheets. It was nice to have so much care taken with the accommodation. We felt very welcome. The location in Portobello is great for experiencing regular Edinburgh life, with local shops for food, great pub downstairs (quiet) that serves the best burgers, fantastic independent coffee shops a few steps away, and one of the best independent bookstores I have visited (The Portobello Bookshop). The beachfront is nice to walk along, with more great food options. The bus stop is right there to get to into the busy tourist-filled city centre. Takes about 20 minutes to get from the apartment to the steps of Edinburgh Waverley Station. Buses are so easy to use, as can just tap a credit or debit card to pay bus fare. We enjoyed “commuting” home with regular Edinburgh folk after sightseeing or shopping in the city! Would love to stay again!

Housed in a historic building, the recently renovated Straven Guesthouse provides accommodation with a shared lounge and free WiFi. Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

Cabin by the coast is located in the Portobello district of Edinburgh, 7.7 km from Royal Mile, 8.1 km from Arthurs Seat and 8.1 km from Edinburgh Waverley station. Great cabin. Very cosy, clean and close to the beach.

Situated in Edinburgh, just a few steps from Portobello Beach, Luxury Apartment - Portobello features beachfront accommodation with free WiFi. The apartment is lovely…looking out directly onto the beach. There are a lot of stairs being third floor. Not for the fainthearted or those expecting to do a lot of cooking (carrying bags up those stairs would be hard)! But location wise, bang on. Over the top of a cafe and pub. Hot evenings so plenty on the beach till late but not terribly noisy. Exactly what you want for a break…we had breakfast at the cafe and lunch at the pub!

In the Portobello district of Edinburgh, close to Portobello Beach, St Margaret's Cottage, Edinburgh has a garden and a washing machine. The cottage was perfect, had everything we needed, and it was a home away from home. Hosts were very attentive and responsive.

We traveled 4000 miles to be with family for a holiday, and found ourselves very comfortable, with plenty of room, enjoying amazing views, and in a great location! The public bus was so easy to catch and take around, we absolutely made the most of our stay.

Beachview Apartment is a beachfront property located in Edinburgh, a few steps from Portobello Beach and 5.1 km from Edinburgh Playhouse. There is an on-site restaurant and free private parking. The view was exceptional!. The unit was well appointed with everything we needed. Kevin was a delight to deal with

Situated in Edinburgh and only 500 metres from Portobello Beach, Edinburgh Seaside Apartment features accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The apartment was clean and well managed. The location is right off the Portobello beach which is a great place for a stroll, cup of coffee, bite to eat, etc. Easy bus ride into Edinburgh Old Town. Would highly recommend if you want a place to stay that is a more peaceful and less crowded than central Edinburgh.
