Set in the 3rd district in central Lyon, this non-smoking hotel offers soundproofed guest rooms with a flat-screen TV. Part-Dieu Train Station is a 2-minute walk from the hotel. Typical hotel of the Ibis chain. Clean, affordable, reasonably comfortable. We chose it for its nearness to Part-Dieu station. As we enjoy walking, we were able to explore the city on foot without ever taking public transport. We liked the several breakfast options but missed the "oeuf à la coque" that we found in other hotels of the Ibis chain. For those interested in Lyon's fabulous gastronomical offerings, a good choice would be the Hotel Ibis Les Halles, next to the Halles de Lyon Paul Bocuse. Near the Part-Dieu station there is also a large shopping mall, Westfield, where one can find several restaurants and bars.

Comfortable, quiet, great air con. Despite being next to a train station you couldn’t hear a thing. It was a relief to have such a comfortable sleep. Perfect for a night or two.

Located in Lyon city centre, Best Western Hotel du Pont Wilson offers modern rooms and suites with a view of the Fourvière hill in the historic part of the city. Free WiFi is provided. The staff are amazing. They helped us plan out our route through the city and recommended restaurants for dinner. Our son was ill in the middle of the night and fresh linens were brought up immediately. The location is central to the city-center. Breakfast had lots of options. The childrens bunk beds were in our room but separated by a little door which was a nice feature.

Located in central Lyon, Mercure Lyon Centre Saxe Lafayette is 15 minutes' walk from Part-Dieu TGV Train Station. It offers free high-speed WiFi access and a fitness room with an indoor swimming pool.... Location was very good, easy to access by car and there’s a parking place in front of the hotel, valet parking service was available which was so comfortable. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. No worries at all. After checking out, we wanted to go to have lunch, so we asked the staff if we could leave our luggage with them, and when we returned to the hotel, they had already put our car out in front of the hotel, which was very touching.
