The setting for this hotel is a charming, classic and lovingly restored building, right in the center of Gijon, next to the Marina. Great location, very comfortable bed and pillows, cozy and well decorated room.

The Hotel Hernán Cortés was inaugurated in 1958, in an impressive building located near Paseo de Begoña, one of the nerve centers of city life. Great location, very close to everything you need. Restaurants are a few meters away, 10 minutes walk, and you are at the beach ⛱️. Shops also a few meters away. Staff were very helpful and cooperative. There is nothing to complain tbh.

Property has very good location in the centre of Gijon! There are a lot of good restaurants and shops near, as well as the beach! You can reach everything! The staff was wonderful! they allowed us to check in early, and when we needed to check out early in the morning, they prepared for us breakfast, arranged the taxi for our next destination! Service was very good and staff was kind, friendly and helpful! Room was clean and for the price we paid - excellent! I would definitely recommend to stay there!

This hotel features a great location overlooking the seafront promenade, at the heart of the city of Gijón, in the northern region of Asturias. It was my 2 stay in Alcomar. They run well this hotel. Central location,next to beach,close to bars and restaurants. Good price.

Located conveniently in the Gijon City Centre district of Gijón, Balenax Pensión is located a 15-minute walk from Playa de Poniente, 20 miles from Plaza de la Constitución and a few steps from... The place is very well located and extremely clean. The living room area is the cutest and the little kitchen comes in super handy. The attention to detail and the effort Andrea and her lovely mum put into the place is visible. I arrived after hours and Andrea went out of her way to check me in. I am definitely staying again!
