Located on Plaza Catalunya in the center of Barcelona, the Hotel Olivia Plaza offers free Wi-Fi and a terrace bar with views of Santa Ana Church. Stylish rooms include a flat-screen TV. Review hotel I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. First of all the location is amazing. The hotel is located on the Catalunya square, were there is a busstop for the airportbus. The square is beautiful. When you walk out of the hotel and go to the right you enter the large shopping street. When you go to the left you find yourself immediatly on the Rambla. Public transportation is very closeby, as are Casa Mila and Casa Batllo (houses designed by Gaudí). Second is that the hotel is very stylish. The breakfast room/restaurant/bar is beautiful with the perfect combination between ancient looking brick walls and glas pavillion looking additions. The employees are super friendly and helpfull. When we arrived we got a welcome drink and the very friendly lady told us we got a free upgrade from a standard room with no view to a large room on the 6th Floor with a magnificent view on the square. On top of that I notified the hotel that we were staying in Barcelona to celebrate my sisters 25th birthday and for that they placed a bottle of cava with two glasses and a sweet dessert in our room on the first night. So sweet! Breakfast was also amazing. I really recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit Barcelona and make the most of it.
