This hotel lies 20 metres from the Puerta de la Santa, a historic entrance into Ávila. It offers free Wi-Fi and great views over the Amblés Valley, city walls and Gredos Mountains. the photo does not do the location justice. The hotel is right in the middle of everything (well, maybe a 2 minute walk). Avila I’d a town built on a hill / you have to go up and/or down to go anywhere! But - for one who has issues with hills, I found it ok. The hills were neither as steep or as long as I feared. Juan Carlos - the owner and/or manager of the property- was a godsend. He carried my bags, remembered my name (not always easy for a Spaniard!) and attended me well before his cafeteria when we had a Birds Eye view of the Easter procession. He called a taxi for me in departure and followed it up with st least 7 other calls to make sure that I reached my train, which I did with only minutes to spare: His hotel was spotlessly clean, all accessories working and friendly. it’s not a palace, but I liked it - and I’m a bit fussy.

Only 4 minutes' walk from Ávila Cathedral, Hotel Las Leyendas is set in the old town. It is a charming and sympathetically converted manor house that dates back to the 16th century. Well presented hotel, lovely room. Only 150 metres from parking and the Citadel of Avila. Very friendly and helpful staff. Has its own restaurant. Historical building with original features. Definitely recommend as an ideal place to stay in Avila.

Located in the historic quarter of the charming town, this 16th-century Palace has been beautifully renovated and stands within pretty gardens – enjoy meals in the fabulous restaurant. The location is excellent, and both the hotel and the room are really beuatiful.

The Las Cancelas Hotel is a peaceful, beautiful and ancient inn dating from the 15th century. It is located in the old part of town, facing the cathedral and old town wall. Central location, everything was within walking distance.

The lovely El Rastro Hotel has an ideal location within the city’s ancient walls. It is close to the Rastro Arch and the birth house of Santa Teresa with its museum. For the price I paid it was a palace. One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in and for 40€ a night a real bargain!

Perfect location for old Avila. Wonderful directions on how to get to the garage, only 100 mt from the apartment. Attentive and friendly host. Could not be better. All ver comfortable in the appartment, and extra ordinarily good location.
