Property and location: The property has open verandah with plants and trees in front of the hotel where you can eat and relax. The building is in good condition with a nice terrace. The hotel is located just next to the temple of Habu, which can be reached in 5 min by foot. Also, other places like Valley of Kings, Valley of Queens, etc, are close by. However the hotel is located 40-45 min drive from airport. The host arranged pick up for us from the airport so it was comfortable. It is calm at night, no traffic noise, the kind we experienced in Cairo. The host: Jabalwy is a very warm, welcoming, kind, and humble person. He made our stay very comfortable. He organized private cars for us for 2 days to travel in Luxor and also for 2 days to travel to Aswan and Abu Simbel. He cooks delicious food. He is always there if you want something. He also organized an air balloon trip for us, which is worth experiencing. The room and the guests: we are 2 indian friends from Germany. We initially booked hotel for 2 nights but we wish we would have stayed longer here. Our room had 1 room with 2 single bad and attached bathroom. Considering the price range, we were quite contented. Located directly next to Madinet Habou Temple, Nour El Balad is located in Luxor. Wi-Fi access is available. It offers mud brick houses with cosy and traditional rooms nestled in a palm grove. It’s like visiting a family, warm welcome, relaxed vibe and extremely helpful owners. We received all the possible help and felt cared about. It also felt like being an explorer staying in a very authentic Egyptian house. The room was very specious and the home made breakfast was lovely. The owner is a heartwarming person who has a wide network and is able to organize everything in Luxor (taxi, hot air ballon, and I’m sure the list doesn’t end here). It’s also very important to highlight that the location is very quiet, we managed to get a rest from noisy Egyptian streets and slept like newborns. Strongly recommend!

This air-conditioned hotel is in the Theban Necropolis, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Owner Sayed really went above and beyond to ensure a perfect stay: helping with itinerary of sights, arranging rental bike, offering late checkout for free and letting friends who were joining to leave thier bags in the room. Super-friendly atmosphere and excellent breakfast.

Nice and clean Hotel surround by gardens and green spaces .. also we could see The Nile and the Mountains in amazing view .. The restaurant served for us very fresh and delicious food.. we also enjoy our time in the nice and clean swimming pool.. the Hotel arranged our tour to Dandara temple and Abydos Temple. Also the Sailing boat to see the sunset and the magical trip of the hot-air balloon.. The management and the team work was so kind and helpful .. Ayman &Mohammed were amazing in everything I recommend this nice Hotel..

Set in Luxor, 2 km from Medinet Habu Temple, Bab Al Samawy offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking and a terrace. From the moment I checked in, the hosts’ Samantha and manager’s warm welcome settled me in so quickly, it was a feeling of coming home. A lovely big room awaited me with cool air circulating it. The tranquility and vast colours of the garden made for a beautiful dinner/lunch/breakfast setup. The food was fresh and tasty, breakfast was my highlight, made to perfection by the hosts. At dusk, the garden is lit with enchanting lights. Samantha provided me with a candle and outdoor lamp for me to continue my book read. I lacked nothing. If you want a place where it is you and the sounds nature with good wifi, away from the buzz of the city, I highly recommend Bab Al Samawy. My bed was so lush and comfortable, I will definitely book again.
