It's a refurbished older building but done up very well. Breakfast was very good and a great view from the roof top dining area. The place is very secure and always attended. Quiet location on a small street with only foot traffic. Close to restaurants and cafes and the old part of Quito. Staff were exceptional in providing information and assistance. Run by younger, folk but they could teach most other hotel operators a thing or two about good customer care and service.

Very nice decor and well kept. The breakfast was delicious and fun to learn more about local fruits. They kindly stored our luggage for us before our flight as we spent the day exploring. Also the wifi was working and fast.

The 5-star Plaza Grande is on Plaza de la Independencia, Quito´s central square. We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Plaza Grande. The location at Plaza Grande is just faboulus to explore the historical center. The rooms are decorated beautifully and elegantly. The staff was very friendly and did everything to make our stay most pleasureable. The restaurant serves delicious food, we especially enjoyed the "Helados de Paila" - you should definitely order it when you are here.

Attractively located in the centre of Quito, Illa Experience Hotel features air-conditioned rooms, a fitness centre, free WiFi and a garden. We stayed at Illa Experience for our last night in Ecuador and Galapagos. It’s an exceptionally designed small hotel with stunning rooms, interior furnishing and views. We loved our suit and double-shower! We dined at the restaurant which provided exceptional dining experience. Breakfast was also wonderful. Staff and services were exceptional!

The high ceiling and spacious bathroom. A beautiful historic property with impeccable service. Both the breakfast and dinner were very good.
