You can see some historical icons like panecillo, feel the peacefull atmosphere, and indee make new friends. Personnel are super friendly, helful, looking out always for customers. A apwcial thank you to Lisandro, Henry, Mariano, Juanito, Yale, Jose and Juan for tremendous hospitality. Breakfast, room cleaness, reception, everything was sharp. At walking distance restaurants but recommended for hawain atmosphere Hula Hula, Bar restaurant, owner super attentive and workers too. Our meals were freshley prepared and super deliciuos. In general, our wxperience in Quito waa amazing. Please use private drivers from hotel, very special, patient, and feel very secure, prices are OK, for a peace of mind, since we compared and their were not huge difference. Space is short to express my overall joy.

Excellent location & the breakfast every morning was delicious and more than we could eat! Delicious coffee & bottled water. Hernan & Gloria were incredible hosts & the historical tour Hernan gave us was amazing! They are kind people that go above & beyond

Located in Quito and with Bolivar Theatre reachable within 800 metres, Hotel Casa Alquimia provides concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. Stunning hotel, extremely helpful and friendly staff and super convenient location for the old town. The room was beautifully decorated and really big, and the breakfast was also great. Can't recommend highly enough!

Casa Hotel Las Plazas is set in Quito, 100 metres from Sucre Theatre and 300 metres from Colonial Art Museum. Rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV. The hotel was beautiful! Very nice decor and well kept. The breakfast was delicious and fun to learn more about local fruits. They kindly stored our luggage for us before our flight as we spent the day exploring. Also the wifi was working and fast.

Casa El Edén is located in Quito’s Historical Centre and is housed in a Colonial-style building. Free Wi-Fi access is available and organic breakfast is included with the rate. This small hotel was the absolute highlight of our few days in Quito. The building has been beautifully restored and the rooms are spacious and comfortable with lovely bathrooms. However Mario and his wife are what makes this place so amazing, their hospitality is phenomenal, you feel like guests in their home! Mario made arrangements for our airport transportation, and was waiting at 1am to welcome us and show us our rooms, and was up at 4:45am to say goodbye. They made us a lovely breakfast each morning and were always around in case we had questions or just needed a cup of tea. If you get a chance, ask to see the before photos of the building, it’s an amazing story. Casa El Eden is on a quiet street but in a convenient location- the old town is a 15min walk away, the Basilica is 10 mins away and the free walking tour leaves from a hostel about 5 mins away.

The 5-star Plaza Grande is on Plaza de la Independencia, Quito´s central square. A top location that I would strongly recommend for any visit to Quito. As the name will tell, the Plaza Grande Hotel is right on the Plaza Grande, that is a stunning masterpiece at the very heart of the UNESCO Heritage site Quito Central area. I chose this hotel primarily for its location, as I wanted to be right at the main historical and artistic hotspot of town, instead of choosing an anonymous, international-chain structure in the newer part of Quito -- and I did it right. I found an excellent hotel, hosted in an historical and perfectly restored building, with incredible rooms (actually suites), all equipped with jacuzzi and (most of them) with a jaw-dropping view on the square (Plaza Grande). Regardless of what you may read, that particular area of the center, between Plaza Grande, San Francisco, Santo Domingo squares and La Ronda, is extremely safe also in the evening, including late evening: I had a long stroll between 9 and 11 PM, all alone, and it was all very quiet, felt (and was) very safe, on streets and squares surrounded by stunning historical buildings, in perfect conservation status, with smart lighting solutions that gave a fantastically well-lit effect. Ask for a suite with view of the square: if they have it available, they will be happy to give you one (I did, and was given one). Staff incredibly and genuinely helpful, proactive and always at disposal.

This incredible colonial-style hotel is located in Quito's San Francisco square and boasts panoramic views of the historic center from its terrace. Quito´s Basilica is 8 minutes driving. Amazing service, all the staff very helpful, very quiet at night, great drinks and location!
