Offering a terrace and a shared lounge, Kleiner Rosengarten has rooms with air conditioning, free WiFi and a cable flat-screen TV. The room was great, BUT instructions for key things, like the AC, were only in German, so not tourist friendly. Similarly, good luck reading the sign at the unmanned reception... also only in German. It said to call a mobile number (a long distance call, generally) it was also an unmanned mailbox. Eventually I figured out to walk in through the restaurant around the corner where I was greeting in, you guessed it, German (and Italian): I speak neither. So, the instructions for getting into the hotel need help, but once it, it was fabulous. I cannot comment on the restaurant, as we ate elsewhere, but it looked busy.

This modern hotel in the heart of Mannheim is just a short stroll from the Rosengarten congress centre, the Planken and Kunststraße shopping streets, and Mannheim Main Station. Super hotel. The reception manager Tuku is very friendly and tries to help. The rooms are clean, cleaning is regular, and it’s immediately noticeable that they try to keep the service at a high level. The location is very convenient.

This hotel is just a 4-minute walk from Mannheim Central Station. It offers soundproofed rooms with free Wi-Fi. Lovely, old-fashioned (in the best meaning of the word) hotel in the center of the city, 5 minutes walking from the Mannheim Hbf. It is family-owned and one can feel a true atmosphere of being at home. Great contact with the owners over the Booking messages before one arrives and then face-to-face, when already there. They accommodate one's needs, as much as humanly possible. I got a nice vegan breakfast, they helped me cancel one day of my stay, when my airline canceled my flight, they changed my room to a quieter one and gave me tips on where to find what. The hotel has a lovely little backyard with flowers and tables, where you can sit and relax. I really felt at home! I was there for work, a one-time issue (a conference), but if I ever come to Mannheim again, I will definitely try to stay with them. I did not get to see a lot of Mannheim, due to a busy schedule, but it seems like an interesting city to visit and the central location of the hotel makes it easy. All my best to Ursula and her two daughters, Andrea and - I am sorry, but I did not get the other daughter's name. You rock, in a classical way :)

Offering free WiFi throughout, this elegant design hotel is situated in central Mannheim just 200 metres from the City Hall. Extremely nice place despite the unassuming exterior. Includes very nice lounge with a bar, pool table and more. Wi-Fi is fast and stable. Air Conditioning wasn't working in my room, but the staff were extremely helpful in finding me a solution and providing a compensation. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience for me.

This family-run hotel is situated directly in the shopping and pedestrian zone in the centre of Mannheim. It offers easy access to public transport and the A6 motorway. The location is superb, just right in front of the tram stop (no.4). There is a supermarket (Aldi) where you can find cheap feasts just across the street. The staff are super helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
