This hotel is set directly beside the yacht harbour on Lake Constance. It offers rooms and apartments with free Wi-Fi and free private parking. I arrived very late, I was able to park right by the entrance - great. Carried my sleeping kid out of the car, a backback on my back and some groceries in my hand. The lady at the check-in counter just looked at us handed me the keys and wished us a good night. Of course I gave her my name but that was it - one of the most considerate things I encountered in hotels recently - thank you very much! The room was very spacious, had lots of windows, yet it was well heated. The beds were comfy and the hotel was nicely decorated. The kitchenette was also fully equipped. I love such places and will definitely be back when I'm around.

Opened in 2015 and directly located on the Wallhauser harbour, Hotel am Yachthafen offers cosy accommodation in Konstanz. Family room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Appreciated the small kitchenette area and the fan. Location was great for paddleboarding and near beaches. Orangerie restaurant next door was delicious. We would stay here again!

This place is so off the road that for those who need an inner city connection to bars or restaurant will be not happy here. All the others, looking for that funny, special something; This is the place to be. Getting there was interesting because my navigation took me to a parking lot in the woods. Just by pure adventurism, I just kept on driving, only to end at the tiny castle. Which is what it is. Even though it was February, there were people sitting outside, bundled up, drinking beer or wine and eating the roasted poulard fresh from the grill. Delicious and also, apparently, a staple there. I drank a local red wine and was very please with the service provided by the owner herself. Had a great sleep and even though the interiors are somewhat stuck in time – it should ever be changed.
