This hotel is Germany’s oldest guesthouse and is located right in the old town of Freiburg in the beautiful area between the Schwabentor (Swabian gate) and the cathedral. Room, breakfast, location everything was great. Hotel is very old but decoration is lovely. It was very clean, room is perfect. Breakfast was the best, I can go there again just for breakfast. Hotel is in the center, but if you will go by car, you have to ask park details. we went by train, and walked just ten minutes.

The hotel breakfast is substantial, varied, and delicious, don't miss it! Rooms are clean and well appointed, with modern furnishings and everything in good repair. Reserve a fourth floor room if available, they are one more spiral staircase up from the elevator top floor, but large and airy with a view of the city rooftops.

This hotel lies in the heart of Freiburg, directly at the cathedral square. Amazing location with a view of the Munster from bed. Really calm and comfortable hotel and the staff were friendly and helpful.

This hotel is a historic building which offers charming accommodations in the heart of Freiburg, close to all main sights including Freiburg Cathedral. Very friendly staff. Brilliant location about 2 minutes walk from the parkhaus & less than 5 minutes from the main shopping & eating areas. Lovely old building with nice rooms & ours had a large shower. Great selection of food, including teas, for breakfast and plenty of it

The family-run Gasthaus Löwen is located conveniently in the Old Town of Freiburg im Breisgau, 328 feet from the Freiburg Minster. Location is key. They are just right inside the old city and you can reach the most beautiful arquitecture just walking. The reception/Bar staff was Amazing and so kind. They made my staying there so much better. The girl who checked me in just did it at 9 pm because my train arrived late and they didn’t hesitate to show me my room and also explain to me about breakfast time and the facilities like the showers, etc. They knew that I would stay for the 1st of May and my train back to Paris would leave on May 2nd at 6 am and they just let my breakfast at the door to go( sandwich and coffee) since I wouldn’t be able to get breakfast at the hotel hours for my very early checkout. So Five stars to this amazing Staff.
