Our room ( actually it was an apart with one bedroom, one living room and one bathroom) was spacious. I loved the high ceilings. They kept our luggage when we visited tayrona. The breakfast was very good, with many options (and a vegan option). The location was in the middle of a center, but at the same time we felt very safe. The staff was very helpful and kind.

El Cactus Luxury Apartments in Historic Center is well situated in the center of Santa Marta, and has an outdoor swimming pool, free WiFi and a terrace. The employees that work at the hotel are very welcoming and kind. They allowed us to leave our bags and walk around the city before checking in. The rooms were clean and very large. The hotel is in a great location, only a ten minute walk to town where you can find dozens of restaurants.

Conveniently set in the center of Santa Marta, Hotel Sierra Nevada is within a 9-minute walk of Bahía de Santa Marta Beach and 500 yards of Santa Marta Cathedral. VERY clean room. Staff is friendly and welcoming. Good location in the old town on a more residential street (easy walking distance to restaurants/bars). Ask for a room on the interior (away from the street noise). The hotel happily stored our bags in a safe place while we hiked in Tayrona Park overnight. Good WIFI. Excellent value for the price. Highly recommended.

Placita Vieja Hotel Boutique Spa is located at Parque de Los Novios next to the restaurants and bars in the Historic Center of Santa Marta, 3.1 mi from El Rodadero Beach. Beautiful place with an excellent location right in the heart of towns and absolutely delightful staff. Jesús was particularly helpful and kind! They even made us a special vegan breakfast and it was delicious.

Located 656 feet from the commercial center and 492 feet from the beach, Hotel Boutique Don Pepe offers free Wi-Fi and a personalized a la carte breakfast in Santa Marta. The staff!! Every member was excellent, always greeting us with a smile, willing to help and answer our requests promptly. Loved the history of this place, and we enjoyed meeting Don Pepe’s owner. Great place to stay in Santa Marta.
