My spouse and I had a few days to spend between our completed Alaska cruise and then flying to Europe for an additional 3 weeks of vacation so we decided on visiting Vancouver Island, a place neither of us had ever been to. We chose not to rent a car and travelled via BC Connect, a bus company which worked out perfectly.
We thoroughly enjoyed Victoria, a beautiful small city of 400K residents, half retired. Lots of things of interest for everyone including a tour of the Provincial Gov't buildings. Excellent choice of restaurants other than The Spaghetti Warehouse which was terrible!

I come from a small city and I found the traffic heavy. We were here for a family get-together so did not do much sightseeing this time, but I know the views of the harbour are beautiful and the wharf is interesting. We did not do a carriage ride this time but we will next time.

The area was great, enjoyed our visit to Victoria.
The area was great, enjoyed our visit to Victoria. The Butchart Gardens were just incredible. Lots to see and do in Victoria.
Just not that impressed at all with our accommodation, especially for the price paid. No daily service even
We were upgraded to a queen deluxe suite. It was very nice and well appointed. Small kitchenette with nice coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator. There was a very comfortable leather sofa and a TV setup. The bedroom had a very comfortable bed and there was also a TV.
The TVs are smart and are connected to the internet so that you can login to your AmazonPrime or Netflix ect. Finally got around to watching Oppenheimer.
I used to live in Victoria and I love this area, great walking trails and access to downtown and nightlife.
Well maintained older hotel that is kept in perfect condition. Large spacious rooms with comfortable beds and lots of room for furniture (not crammed in like newer, smaller hotel rooms). Quiet and peaceful with the nice extras such as plush towels and quality linen. Pool, spa, games room, library are nice. Enjoyed an excellent breakfast on our last morning. Perfect location, we parked our vehicle and walked all over Victoria's downtown area. We always stay here when visiting Victoria.
The location of this hotel is perfect! Easy to walk everywhere you need to in downtown Victoria - up to Chinatown, over to the waterfront, and down to the parliament buildings, Beacon Hill Park, and Empress hotel. We really loved that it was pet friendly, had an indoor pool/hot tub, and a great restaurant (Vista 18) with a view at the top (we went for breakfast and it was really good)! The staff were all very friendly and the place was clean - will stay here again!
The front desk staff were very friendly and accommodating. They held our luggage since we were checking out of another hotel and had a few hours to spare. The location was perfect. Within walking distance of downtown and a coffee shop and grocery store. We couldn't have asked for a better place to spend our time in victoria.
Exceptionally clean, stayed in a dog-friendly room on the ground floor. Great location for inner harbour and main tourist attractions in downtown Victoria. Staff extremely helpful. The hotel has a lovely old-world atmosphere ( wood panelling, original features) Good secure underground parking
The location was convenient in downtown Victoria and the hotel staff was friendly. They allowed us to park our car at the hotel entrance while we were dropping off our luggage since there was no parking available at the hotel. There are good breakfast spots at a walking distance from the hotel.
Check-in was a breeze, the staff are so helpful and friendly. I love the location. Easily accessible by bus to and fro Downtown Victoria. My 5yr old daughter enjoyed her swim in the pool. The room is clean. Chinese Restaurant is beside the hotel so there was no problem getting some food.
The location was great, close to downtown Victoria and the shopping malls. Nice that the galloping goose trail runs right along the back at the hotel. The room was tastefully decorated with modern decor and very clean.
If you are in Victoria, B.C. without a vehicle this apartment is the ideal location. Walking distance to shopping, great restaurants, and sights such as Royal B.C. Museum, Empress Hotel, walking paths on waterfront.
Location was great, easy to find our way downtown etc The front foyer was lovely and inviting. The hotel was clean and tidy. Rooms were a great size and comfortable beds.
Staff were very helpful and friendly.
Amazing hotel by the ocean! Just 10 minutes from downtown Victoria. Ocean view is spectacular and the beach front heated pool and spa are so comforting, especially on a mid November day at 6 degree celsius.
Very nice breakfast . Specially the fresh waffle maker. Excellent Location . Short walk to Victoria downtown and harbour, Parliament building a, Empress Hotel, Royal BC Museum and fisherman’s wharf .
Host tried her very best to accommodate. Great location for Fisherman's Wharf and downtown Victoria. Large room. Free parking. Probably good value for the area.
