Loved it. Perfect location next to a Teleférico station that takes you right to city centre. Staff were awesome, and thanks Carla for getting us the perfect room. She took extra time to do so. Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had at a hotel. We could have spent a week here.

La casa de Teresita is well situated in La Paz, and features a garden, free WiFi and a terrace. From the moment you walk from the hustle & bustle of the La Paz streets and into the peace of the front garden, you know you are staying someplace special. Originally built in 1916, this was the home of Dr xxx and Teresita. Their sons have turned the home into bed and breakfast. The rooms are comfortable, the showers nice and hot. But for the full experience, take the time to explore the house! You feel like you are walking back in time! Family photos and art work are displayed throughout the property. The music room contains 2 vintage pianos and the halls are filled with family memorabilia. Ask Ernesto and he will show you photos of his grandfather & great-grandfather during one of the many Bolivian revolutions. We highly recommend Casa Teresita & will stay again if ever we come back to La Paz!

Strategically located, Hotel Sagarnaga stands in a touristic district where guests can find the Witches’ Market right around the corner, a variety of travel agencies a few steps away, ATMS currency... Fantastic location. Staff extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms are comfortable and quiet. Great value - definitely recommend.

Boasting a shared lounge, a terrace as well as a bar, Hotel Las Brisas Centro is situated in the centre of La Paz, 1.6 km from Cementerio Teleferico Station. The decor embodies Bolivia. The location is perfect, although note the street will be loud st night. The staff is wonderful and accommodating. I arrived early in the morning before check in. I fell asleep on the couch and someone came and placed a wool blanket on me.

ISKAY BOUTIQUE HOSTEL has a shared lounge, terrace, a restaurant and bar in La Paz. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers room service and a 24-hour front desk. The hostel is in a really good location next to the witches market, a short walk from the bus station and also to further downtown and museums. The staff were super kind and helpful, and I really liked the rooftop restaurant (I had a basic breakfast included but there were lots of other options for an extra few bs). I stayed in a private room with amazing views. Hot water was the best I've had in Bolivia!

Located in the centre of La Paz, Hotel Madrid is set 3.2 km from Sopocachi Teleferico Station and 3.4 km from Cementerio Teleferico Station. Location was great, about 15-20min walk to El Prado cable car station, and also similar walking distance/time to Obelisco station. The witches market is also close by. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was a typical one but more than enough.

Qantu Hotel offers accommodation at downtown, La Paz. The rooms come with a flat-screen TV, towels, toiletries, hair dryer, private bathroom, electric kettle, goose feather pillows, and a phone line. Location, staff, comfort! I wish we had stayed here earlier in our trip. Lily was so helpful on reception.
