We liked the cleanliness of the house. It is equipped with everything you would need away from home. Very rustic and some updates needed but other than that it was good. The lounge/bar area and kitchen needs allot of work. It's old.

The hosts are absolutely fantastic! We arrived as guests and left as friends. If you like a comfortable home-style stay, this is the place for you. From the moment we checked in it felt as if we had known Pat and Bobby always. They welcomed us in like family or old friends and opened their home to us. Disa Lodge is one of those rare finds, a place which feels like a comfortable jacket or glove. We loved sharing life and stories with our hosts.

Meeting so many of the staff some of whom are interns hoping for permanent employment. Their friendly - positivity mad us feel so welcome.
This establishment is a must for everybody even more so South Africans.
The restaurant was beautiful and the menu was exciting. They even delivered orders to our cottage just before the kitchen closed.

Be careful what you are booking for.
Be careful what you are booking for. I booked a 'room' but ended up in a tent over a mile away from the Centre (shown on property's photo) along a sand track and across a main road.
The tent had water but I was told it was not drinkable. There was no gas so I couldn't boil it.
'Breakfast included' but that was back at the Centre. When I complained I was told 'rooms are over zar 1000 at the Centre'

The staff is very friendly and helpful. It feels like home away from home.
It's peaceful and tranquil and the most beautiful array of stars at night.
Yzerfontein Farmstall and beach is only a stone throw away and we also had a quick pop in to Darling.
Location is easy to find, and easy to get around from the restaurant to the Bush Lodge were we spent the night.

!Khwa ttu is a fantastic stopover! Don't forget to take your bikes with and make time to go on a San cultural tour. We ran out of time exploring the trails so will be back for the cultural tour soon! The breakfast at their restaurant was also a highlight after a long cycle.
