The accommodation was exceptional. The room was spacious and comfortable. The treehouse guest area and boma with the fireplace was fantastic. The views of the waterhole from the treehouse guest area was amazing to watch all the wild life come and go.
The game drive were great with fantastic guides who can change a jeep wheel in 15 minutes. They made sure that each safari was an enjoyable experience with as many of the animals they could track. It was great that the radio system helps to share the encounters with other animals so each jeep can have an opportunity to experience a sighting.

I saw loads of the animals I was looking for, Giraffe, Rhino, Impala, Crocodile, Elephants Kudu, and even a couple of Lions and 2 Leopards. Saw the Wild Dogs and Buffalo.
I also played golf at Skukuza Golf Club which was a bit of fun. Everyone was friendly and we always felt safe.

Located close skukuza gate of the Kruger national park. It was value for money. Friendly staff and helpful. Missed having a kitchen portion, as it was not self catering. Really enjoyed our stay there.

Great park, amazing wildlife, fantastic experience.
Great park, amazing wildlife, fantastic experience. This being said, it is not a zoo! Don't expect to see all the existing animals in the parc! Some are easy to spot and other not so much, this is real animal kingdom and it's difficult to say who is watching who! Sun sets are also amazing with beautiful colors. Vegetation is small but dense(bushes). According to our guide it is easier to spot the animal during winter / dry season. Bushes hve less leaves making easier spotting animals and the animals gather around the water spot. During summer it is the opposite. Bushes are more dense and r'there is water everywhere making animal spotting more difficult. So an advice: winter is great for animals but of course temperature are lower so be prepared for low temperature and bring some warm clothes.

Very good upmarket hotel with well equipped luxury rooms and facilities. Dinner and breakfast included in the rate and both were exquisite. Friendly and helpful staff to assist from the moment you arrive till the moment you leave. I can highly recommend a planned holiday to this hotel which is situated only a few hundred metres away from the Kruger Gate leading to Skukuza. Great vacation.

If you’re thinking of booking this hotel, stop thinking and do it. The accommodations were absolutely incredible. The staff was so friendly & helpful. We took 1 game drive with them and it was a 200/10. Our guide, Elvis, did everything in his power to help us find the Big Five & I’ll never forget him & his knowledge. Get to Kruger Gate Hotel now!!

Let me just say I thank God for nature, I love how the environment of Skukuza is so clean. I enjoyed the game drive with our amazing driver Lucky from Buschbuckridge lodge. I love that there are all the amenities you need like restaurants and including a petrol station.
Very pleasant stay - everything was extremely clean (for a tent, of course), in a nice quiet area in central Skukuza in between the Shop and Train. If you want to camp on your Safari but are flying in and don't have a tent etc., this is a good option. Location also had good cell phone service, which is usually questionable in Kruger.
The manager, Merriam, was very pleasant and responsive as well!
Lovely spacious villa, well kitted out unit in the heart of the bush, staff that greeted us on arrival were lovely and the unit met all our needs and expectations for our trip, it is also close to the park gate and use of the facilities at the nearby hotel is nice as well.
