Nice cottage, the evidence of hippos passing in the night was great. Andre is a great host, we lost our jackets earlier and because shops were not open before start of whale watching in the morning, Andre got us a few jackets to lend. Also very convenient that Andre could organize whale watching and the hippo tour. Next to that, Andre is a great person.

Hennie and Ilze took great care of us. They arranged all our bookings of three trips and also changed the dates when severe bad weather canceled some bookings. Took our laundry out of hands. A very care free stay. We extended our stay with a night as we like it so much. (For the cat lovers : there are two Garfield cats running around, you might want to give them a quick belly rub. For the non-cat lover: don’t worry you won’t be bothered by them)
When you arrive, there is a large wooden door leading to the common living room. The rooms are upstairs and in the side building. All rooms have a similar decoration and style: high ceilings, dark wood, African print.
During my horse back ride, Hennie turned on Formula 1 for my fiance in the common living room (greatly appreciated!)

St Lucia is small little town, easy to walk, a few good restaurants to choose from. The national park is very close by and a must to visit. We travelled with small children! Sunset cruise on the river to learn about the hippos and crocodiles.

Definitely avoid a room on the main street near restaurants etc as very noisy especially at night. But a very nice place to stay in St Lucia, a relaxing holiday vibe. Cape Vidal is stunning! Walks in Isimangaliso well worth it.

St Lucia is a lovely, small town that always feels safe to walk / cycle around during day and night. A nice selection of restaurants and coffee shops. Very friendly people. The absolute highlight are the wild hypos walking right across the town at night, right past you while you are having dinner!

St Lucia is a break away from a busy city life yet you're still in a town. A beautiful place to be adventurous and yet relaxed. The town is small enough to walk around in and enjoy the ambience. The boat cruise on the estuary is awesome. The many restaurants serve good food too

The place was amazing and really peaceful, we enjoyed our stay, our bad encounter was actually with the manager on site not the host. This was due to a misunderstanding. Our stay was really great, restaurants were a walking distance and so we're the shops.

Beautiful beaches and town.
Beautiful beaches and town. Boat trip on the Estuary was lovely. Best part was the drive to Cape vidal. Saw plenty of wildlife on the way including elephant, rhino, Buffalo, different types of buck and warthog.
Lovely feel with the huts amongst the palm trees. Superb location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Definitely one of the nicer boutique hotels in St Lucia. Highly highly recommend doing all tours and cruises with Shakabarker - they made our trip to St Lucia
Omg I loved this place, this was our third trip to St Lucia and I am so glad we picked this place. The receptionist had alerted us to keep an eye out for hippos as they can sometimes be seen from balcony as they move on to the street, and l did. It was amazing. I LOVED it here
I would recommend 31 The Bridge to any family looking for a self catering apartment in St Lucia. The place was very neat, secure and ideally located just outside the swimming pool. Everything mentioned on their site was provided accordingly.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, the warm reception and numerous tips on St Lucia was most welcomed. Thank you for the tours arranged, it went so smoothly and it was wonderful experiences and we got to see lots of animals.
Really enjoyed our stay, probably one of the cleanest most well-equipped units we have stayed in. We were very comfortable and don't think we will stay anywhere else when we visit St Lucia.
