Everything was great. We loved our little apartment overlooking the fields of spring flowers, in a bowl of beautiful mountains. Our accommodation was spotless and had everything that we needed. The bed was a good size and very comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well-appointed. We had breakfast and dinner at the little restaurant run by the owners. This is on demand (place your order), and there is no menu. A homecooked meal with dessert was served in a cozy atmosphere and was delicious. Braai facilities are available at the units and we enjoyed a braai on our second night. Again, you can order wood and firelighters to be delivered. The road to the farm is good and not that far from town.

The Klawer hotel is something to visit. We had a very interesting meal there. The place itself is not spectacular, but for atmosphere you must visit this Margo's restaurant, if only to see the "Halucinogenic fish" - at least that is what the waitress called the inhabitants of the fishtank that was sitting opposite our table.

Small town but central for travellers. Wine tasting nearby. Clanwilliam, Biedouw Valley and flower route. Niewhwoudtville and nature reserves. Klawer Hotel is a older hotel, great for a stop over. Serves a great pizza. Will certainly make Klawer the next holiday stop for at least 3-4 days. Great for camping.
