Nice small hotel with very clean rooms, nice roof terrace and friendly staff.
I don´t understand the previous negative review. We enjoyed our trip and would come again for sure.
Also the street noise in 2nd floor was not more than in any other town/city.

I recently stayed at this apartment and overall, it was an interesting experience. The apartment was cheap and offered a decent price-quality ratio. The owner was kind enough to give me a ride to the bus terminal, which was very helpful and greatly appreciated.
The apartment is described as having a garden view, it's a view of the street with a fig tree and a couple of flowers. The entrance is separate, which gives a sense of privacy.
The cleanliness could have been better, although the towels and bed linens were clean. The shower was basic but functional, with a steady supply of warm water.
The WLAN was excellent, which was a big plus for staying connected.
Inside the apartment, there was a small section separated for the bedroom, which didn't have any windows but had an air conditioner that worked quietly and effectively.
The location is quite convenient. If you exit the alley and turn left, you'll reach the KIBHAS bus terminal within 500 meters. From there, you can catch a bus to Ercan Airport for 260 Turkish lira (around 8 euros). KIBHAS has a website where you can book tickets in Turkish.
If you continue walking, you'll reach the old city, a nice area for a stroll.
Nearby the apartment, there's a city mall with a supermarket for groceries and a pastry shop with good baked goods.
If you turn right from the alley instead of left towards the old city, you'll find a university with lots of greenery.
I didn't visit the beach as I had just come from a hotel in Bafra where I had spent time sunbathing.
On average, it costs £78 per night to book a 3-star hotel in Famagusta for tonight. You'll pay on average around £91 if you choose to stay in a 4-star hotel tonight, while a 5-star hotel in Famagusta will cost around £531 (based on Booking.com prices).
a fascinating old town. The scattered ruins of old churches give a unique atmosphere. Extremely quiet at night (not recommended if you are looking for night life!). At 20 minutes from Salamis ruins, where you can relax on the beach after the hot and tiring vist of the ruins, it is the ideal place also for exploring Karpax peninsula and the northern coast. I should have stayed more!

We stayed inside the old walled city of Famagusta.
We stayed inside the old walled city of Famagusta. It was wonderful to walk among the buildings of by-gone centuries. It was peaceful, secure and so relaxing. I expected a lot, but received so much more. Our experience was beyond words. It was hard leaving to come back to the hustle and bustle of a large American city.

Beautiful old town.
Beautiful old town. I'd like to recommend a restaurant ( forgot the name) very close to the no less visit worthy Patek (crazy delicious Loukoums!!) with an outdoor terrace in a parking lot. It sound weird, but the service is excellent, the food wonderful, the prices very reasonable and on Fridays and Saturdays there are live concert (amazing and gorgeous woman singer when we visited)

Famagusta may not be as fancy and busy as Larnaca, but it's lacked back charm is great. Plus you can so much more money for money because they use a different currency. Will definitely visit again when I come to Cyprus.
