Host (Egzon) provided lots of information about the places to visit. We went to his recommendation (Radoniqit Lake) for lunch and it was excellent spot and not to be missed. Lots of greenery inside the house and its close proximity to Old Bazaar. They brought Turkish coffee with Baklava and it was excellent treat after a long journey. Check in - Check out was very smooth considering host is living in the same complex. Will recommend to anyone who is visiting Gjakova on a short holiday.

The view out front of the happy hotel, the place shines at night, and the sun reflects off of the river during the day. The buildings, the cobblestone streets, the sightings of family gatherings and the monuments dedicated to those whom have contributed to the town for its improvement were an amazing sight to behold and made me pleased to stay for the time I did.

I love the old town.
I love the old town. We were there for a music festival (Carshia Fest). It was really fun. The musical talent was amazing, actually. The food and drink was all good and not overpriced at all. Lots of good hotels in the area. It has a nice river walk and is near lots of great hiking. Old Turkish style architecture is still abundant in this town.
