Lovely location especially if you love nature, mountains and greenery. I did a lot of hiking through the rice terraces which was the best part of my trip. Enjoyed my time at Sunworld Fansipan. Food is a bit expensive but resonable for the area. It’s a very hilly area so you can get tired walking, and can opt for taxi but can be expensive. Recommend doing a home stay (can book through booking.com or Airbnb - find Sue‘s homestay) and experience local hospitality

i liked the town , not hot like in Hanoi , nice to walk and many opportunities to tray local north food .
there are many nice restaurants , The tourist attractions are just tourist attractions but the cable car even if it is expensive it is very interesting just to see where they built it , the view is impressive . i also liked to talk with some women from the mountains ethnic groups , just to learn something about their life . Nature around is fantastic.

Lovely and cute town, nice weather. Didn't rain much when we were around Sa Pa. Easy to get around with lot of transport options. Nice people and good vibe of the town.
We would definitely avoid the day journey transfers from Hanoi to Sa Pa and vice versa. Overnight journeys would be productive I feel.

Highlights for Sapa: trekking surrounding nature and minority tribes villages, relax and slow down in small town, cable car to Fansipan and traditional black Hmong culturak show in CatCat village
Upon arrival we got a free upgrade to the Honey Moon suite. The room was spacious and very clean, with all the comforts needed. The staff is really helpfull when you want to do a trekking tour or can help you with ordering a taxi for a fixed fee which drives you around the surroundings. Laundry is cheap and they have it ready in the beginning of the next morning, even if you drop it off in the evening. One of the best hotels we visited in Vietnam, especially due to the care of the staff!
This was the nicest hotel we stayed in whilst travelling Vietnam. The hotel is brand new and everything feels so clean and fresh. The rooms are really bright and spacious, with super comfortable beds. The staff really go out of their way to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, haven’t had as good service as this before from a hotel! Breakfast is really tasty too. Location is good to be able to walk into Sapa and explore the local cafes and restaurants.
We absolutely loved our stay in this hotel! Location is great, rooms are very clean and the view we had from our balcony was stunning! Moreover, Eric was literally the most helpful and friendly host we've met during our entire stay in Vietnam. He helped us arrange a trekking tour, booked fansipan and bus tickets for us and was always ready to give us some advices or recommendations.

Wow!! Incredible stay in this hotel!! Both brothers are extremely friendly and generous. They help us as much as they can and know a lot about the région. The room is very comfortable with big and great beds!! With a shortcut, city center is just 5 minutes away by foot. I definitely recommend and would go back for sure. Our best stay till now in Vietnam.
It was extremely comfortable and the staff was absolutely amazing - especially Autumn made our stay so welcoming. Hands down the best hotel we stayed at in Vietnam so far.
